On the morning of June 17, Lao Cai Radio and Television Station organized a meeting with outstanding collaborators in 2023.
Attending the event were comrade Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of the Department of Information and Communications, Journalists Association, Lao Cai Newspaper, Department of Culture and Sports and nearly 50 outstanding collaborators.
In 2022, Lao Cai radio and television broadcasting continued to develop strongly and achieved many results. One of the reasons for the results of the operation of the radio, television and broadcasting system in the whole province in 2022 is that the provincial station and the program production cooperation agencies at the provincial level as well as the cultural, sports and communication centers of districts, cities and towns have paid attention to building a team of collaborators in all types and genres such as radio, television, electronic information; political commentary, literature - sports - entertainment and radio and television in ethnic languages...
In 2022, the Provincial Radio and Television Station will produce and broadcast 80 minutes of television news and 80 minutes of radio news every day. In 2023, the Station will be assigned to produce 6 news programs every day, with a total duration of 105 minutes of television news and 95 minutes of radio news per day. The demand for large volumes of news articles is therefore very important. The contribution of the team of collaborators is therefore very important.
News and articles from district-level centers and collaborators from sectors have the advantage of grasping the grassroots situation, having many relatively good topics, and updating issues of the sector and locality. Basically, news and articles from localities and sectors have a program of close and regular coordination with Lao Cai Radio and Television. The News and Topics Department has established and effectively maintained a zalo group to regularly exchange with centers and collaborators, and place orders for topics according to actual requirements. The collaborative topics are rich, diverse, and cover local and sectoral issues. Some centers and units collaborated very actively, such as Bac Ha, Bat Xat, Van Ban, Simacai, Muong Khuong, Bao Yen, Sa Pa, Lao Cai city, Center for Disease Control, Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command... Some individuals did not directly participate in collaborating on news and articles but made very positive contributions to the content.
However, at some times, there are still centers and units that are not close and timely in collaborating on news and articles. The quality of some centers and units' news and articles is not high, and the images still need a lot of editing. Some news and articles cannot be used because of fragmentary information, shaky images, incorrect colors, substandard image quality, and the number of news and articles collaborated is still small.
In 2023, the volume of programs including news, arts, entertainment, special topics, columns, ethnic languages and electronic information will continue to increase. Lao Cai Radio and Television Station requests active cooperation from collaborators; promote the exploitation of the strengths of collaborators in cultural, sports and media centers. In 2023, the provincial station will strive to improve the royalty regime and timely payment for collaborators; organize training courses for collaborators according to different collaborative work groups, especially collaborators in arts, electronic information and ethnic languages; direct specialized departments to regularly exchange with collaborative groups and collaborators, and place orders for topics according to required content.
At the meeting, collaborators contributed many ideas to improve coordination and information quality such as: Hoping that the provincial Radio Station would increase professional exchanges, regularly maintain contact, guide collaborators to create products together; expand the network of collaborators in specific and advantageous fields that many people are interested in...
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of Lao Cai Radio and Television Station in communication work. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized: Lao Cai is a land with many materials to promote, introduce, and create press works; encourage reporters and journalists to continue to promote creativity to further strengthen propaganda work. In particular, it is necessary to delve into reality, focusing on exploiting topics about rural areas. Reporters, journalists and collaborators need to coordinate closely, improve skills, foster expertise, perform well their roles and tasks, and develop local press, radio and television.
