On June 13, the Ninh Binh City Bar Association held the 7th Congress of the City Bar Association, term 2024-2029.
During the past term, the City Bar Association has promoted the collective intellectual strength to deploy and implement the tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 6th Congress, especially participating in law-making; disseminating and educating the law, providing legal advice; building, consolidating and perfecting the Association's organization, developing members; affirming the role and position of the Association, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and socio-economic development of the city.
In 5 years, the Association has coordinated with the Legal Aid Center and the Department of Justice, the City Justice Department to receive and resolve more than 700 cases of 1,829 subjects representing organizations, businesses, and individuals requesting advice in the fields of: civil, criminal, economic-marriage, family, labor; consulting for more than 750 cases in 14 wards and communes with requests for advice.
In addition, the City Bar Association and its branches also actively advise local authorities and leaders of agencies to do a good job of receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations from the people; coordinate to build and consolidate 180 mediation teams and do a good job of grassroots mediation, limiting the occurrence of hot spots...
With its achievements, the City Lawyers Association has received many certificates of merit from the Central Association, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Ninh Binh City People's Committee.
In the spirit of concentration and democracy, the delegates voted to pass the Resolution of the Congress; elected the Executive Committee of the City Bar Association, term VII, 2024-2029 and elected delegates to attend the 7th Congress of the Ninh Binh Provincial Bar Association, term 2024-2029.
On this occasion, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Association's work program for the 2019-2024 term were commended and rewarded.
