Congress of the Association of Vietnamese Photographers in Thai Nguyen province, term 2024

(NADS) - On December 20, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Thai Nguyen Province 1 held the Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Attending and directing the Congress were: Artist Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Artists, Editor-in-Chief of Photography & Life Magazine; Artist Nguyen Duc Dieu, Head of the Organizing and Emulation Committee of the Association of Artists on behalf of the Vietnam Association of Artists; Ms. Nguyen Thuy Quynh, President of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Association of Literature and Arts. The Congress was organized solemnly and seriously with a high sense of responsibility from the members.

Overview of the opening of the Congress

Before electing the new Executive Committee, the Association summarized its activities for the 2019-2024 term. The summary report fully highlighted the bright spots in its activities, solidarity in common activities, and the creative efforts and achievements of individual members. During the last term, the Association proposed that the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts consider admitting one more member and also proposed directions for activities, innovation, and striving to achieve higher achievements than the last term.

The association encouraged photography enthusiasts in Thai Nguyen to participate in activities, compete, and strive to recruit more members in the 2024 - 2029 term. At the same time, it also pointed out many shortcomings that need to be improved and eliminated to rise up in the coming time. Artist Ho Sy Minh gave a speech to direct, encourage, and also pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the Thai Nguyen Artist Association. Proposed some feasible directions to help develop more strongly.

The congress elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 2 people, NSNA Branch President Tran Thi Thanh Huyen and NSNA Trinh Viet Hung was re-elected as Vice President. The new Executive Committee was unanimously elected by all members, demonstrating solidarity, cohesion and trust.

The success of the congress demonstrates the determination to rise up of the Vietnamese Photographers Association in Thai Nguyen in particular and Thai Nguyen Photography in general.
