(NADS) - On December 21, at the headquarters of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Literature and Arts Association, the 4th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association of Vietnamese Photographic Artists (term 2024 - 2029) took place.
Attending and directing the congress were People's Artist Ho Sy Minh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and People's Artist Nguyen Duc Dieu - Head of the Organization - Emulation - Membership Committee; also attending were Mr. Le Viet Phuong, Deputy Head of the Culture - Arts Department of the Propaganda Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and painter Pham Duy Phuong, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Thanh Hoa Association of Literature and Arts.
During the 2019 - 2024 term, the Association of Vietnamese Artists in Thanh Hoa has always received close guidance and support in all aspects from the Propaganda Department and the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association. The Association has 10 artists who are all members of the Photography Department of the Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Association, so it is very convenient in professional work and activities. Members basically follow the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws to do a good job of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws in the task of creating and promoting literary and artistic works. Always actively pioneering in the movements of creating literary and artistic works to promote the image of the land and people of Vietnam, including the image of the land and people of Thanh Hoa, to domestic and international friends. The Association of Vietnamese Artists in Thanh Hoa is the core to promote the local photography movement to develop more and more, actively participating and achieving high achievements in domestic and international art photography competitions.
In addition, members have actively participated in regular activities with the local photography community. Through meetings and professional activities, the Association has discovered and nurtured many new factors, contributing to nurturing the artistic passion of young photographers. A special mark of the past term was the coordination with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the photo contest "Thanh Hoa's Famous Landscapes". The contest not only left its mark on the province's artistic photography movement but also contributed to promoting the image of Thanh Hoa closer to the community. During the past term, many Thanh Hoa artists participated and won prizes at provincial, national and international photography contests.
At the Congress, delegates discussed and agreed on the direction of activities for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, the Association will continue to mobilize members to create works in response to the Campaign "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh". At the same time, the Association will expand exchanges with clubs and other associations in provinces and cities to enhance understanding and improve professional capacity for members.
Also at this congress, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Association of Fine Arts elected its Executive Board for the 2024-2029 term. Fine Arts Le Cong Binh was elected by the congress as the Branch President, and Fine Arts Vu Lam Thao as the Branch Vice President for the 2024-2029 term. The congress elected 4 qualified Fine Arts members to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts.
