Da Nang: Advertising openly without a license, Wonjin cosmetic clinic is proposed to be fined 60 million VND

On April 7, the Inspector of the Da Nang Department of Health said that the unit's inspection team had just worked with representatives of the Wonjin Da Nang Cosmetic Company Limited (Wonjin Clinic Cosmetic Institute - 218 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Thac Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District).

Through inspection, the Inspector of the Department of Health of Da Nang City determined that Wonjin Da Nang Cosmetic Company Limited had violated the regulation on advertising medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment or a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 56 of Decree No. 38/2021/ND-CP dated March 29, 2021 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in the field of culture and advertising.

Wonjin Clinic was proposed to be fined 60 million VND by the Inspector of the Da Nang City Department of Health.

The Inspector of the Da Nang Department of Health has requested that Wonjin Da Nang Cosmetic Company Limited not provide cosmetic services until the Da Nang Department of Health notifies that the facility meets the conditions for providing cosmetic services according to regulations.

On the afternoon of April 7, the Inspector of the Department of Health of Da Nang City advised the leaders of the Department of Health of Da Nang City to forward a request to the People's Committee of Da Nang City to issue a decision to administratively sanction Wonjin Da Nang Cosmetic Company Limited for the above-mentioned behavior with a fine of 60,000,000 VND.

In addition to the above violations, Wonjin Clinic was also fined by the Thanh Khe District Economic and Environmental Police Team for not collecting hazardous waste in accordance with regulations. Thanh Khe District Police have requested the People's Committee of this district to issue an administrative penalty decision, with a fine of VND 15,000,000.

The Da Nang Department of Health said that there are currently 28 medical examination and treatment facilities in the area with specialized activities in the field of aesthetics and 52 facilities that are qualified to self-declare that they meet the conditions to provide aesthetic services.

The Da Nang Department of Health is organizing an inspection of the operation of cosmetic service establishments from March 9 to April 28 and continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen state management and inspection activities for this type of service.
