The summary report shows that in 2024, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Government Inspectorate and the trade unions of departments, offices and units promoted the proactive, active and creative role of the trade union staff in directing activities, organizing emulation movements, and taking good care of the material and spiritual life of civil servants, public employees and workers at the Government Inspectorate. Many operational targets in 2024 achieved high results, continuing to contribute to the overfulfillment of the targets of the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term.
Implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation, the TTCP Trade Union has deployed to 100% of the trade union units, while closely following the Resolution of the Party Executive Committee, the TTCP Party Committee, the 2024 work program and plan approved by the Government Inspector General, and the Resolution of the Conference of delegates of cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
Each cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker actively responds to emulation movements; enhances the sense of responsibility, innovates working methods and skills; continues to strive, make efforts, overcome all difficulties, regularly practice political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, practice thrift, fight waste; well implement democratic regulations and inspection culture, comply with regulations and rules of the agency and unit; uphold the spirit of solidarity, mutual assistance, help each other to strive, contribute to the excellent completion of the key political tasks of the agency, unit and the Inspection sector.
Participate in implementing thrift and combating waste in agencies and units, improving and enhancing the lives of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the agency.
The executive committees of trade unions at all levels participate in councils: salary increase, rank increase, disciplinary councils... to protect the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Coordinate with functional units in organizing periodic health check-ups for all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, maintain the agency's medical on-call regime, and ensure that 100% of union members enjoy health insurance benefits.
Maintain and promote the sports movement, practice to improve health for good study and work. Organize sports tournaments to celebrate National Day September 2; participate in sports tournaments organized by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Union; participate in the 19th National Inspection Newspaper Badminton Tournament in Thai Nguyen...
The TTCP Trade Union launched an emulation movement with the theme "Tightening discipline, enhancing inspection efficiency, adapting to safety in the new situation" and effectively participated in the emulation movement launched by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union with the theme: "Improving the responsibility of consulting and serving; continuing to innovate working methods, overcoming all difficulties, striving to successfully complete the targets and tasks of the resolutions of the trade union congresses at all levels for the 2023-2028 term"...
In addition to taking care of the lives of union members and those in difficult circumstances, the TTCP Trade Union has contributed and supported people affected by storm No. 3 with over 439.7 million VND. Supported the construction of solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province with 25 million VND. Visited soldiers and islanders on Truong Sa island district with 22 million VND...
In 2025, the TTCP Trade Union will continue to promote and constantly innovate the content and methods of operation, ensuring that trade union activities and the movement of workers and civil servants throughout the agency are carried out regularly and continuously, effectively serving the leadership of the Executive Committee, the Party Committee of the TTCP, and the direction and administration of the leaders of the TTCP in all fields.
Continue to organize the dissemination and implementation of the study and implementation of the Party's resolutions; implement the Resolutions of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the 2023-2028 term General Confederation of Labor; programs, thematic resolutions and directives of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union; organize practical activities, make achievements to celebrate the country's major holidays and anniversaries, and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Inspectorate to all union members and workers.
Strengthening propaganda and education work, raising awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in agencies and units about the glorious tradition of 80 years of establishment and development of the Vietnam Inspectorate, continuing to promote and improve the effectiveness of the emulation movement to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks associated with continuing to study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh.
Coordinate with agencies to organize well the Conference of workers, civil servants and employees in 2025, strive to build a strong trade union organization.
Strive for 100% of cadres and civil servants to complete their tasks well, with no cadres, civil servants, public employees, or workers violating discipline.
The conference received many comments on the summary report of 2024 and the direction of tasks for 2025. Most comments agreed with the content of the report, and at the same time contributed some comments to complete the report more fully and colorfully. Regarding the tasks for 2025, comments said that there should be a specific action program for grassroots trade unions to proactively participate fully and effectively...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thai Hoai Nam, Vice President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, highly appreciated the results achieved by the TTCP Trade Union in 2024. Regarding the work in 2025, the Vice President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union requested the TTCP Trade Union to overcome the shortcomings pointed out in the report. Continue to perform well the role of the trade union in all activities, organize the successful implementation of the proposed plan, including effectively implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW as required by the Central Steering Committee and the Government's Steering Committee.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of the TTCP Trade Union, Mr. Nguyen Manh Huong, Chairman of the TTCP Trade Union, accepted the instructions of the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, and affirmed that he will continue to successfully carry out all assigned tasks in the role of the trade union.
