At the conference, the City Department of Home Affairs announced a resolution on the establishment of 5 departments under the City People's Committee, including: Department of Finance (based on the merger of the Department of Finance and the Department of Planning and Investment); Department of Construction (based on the merger of the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction); Department of Agriculture and Environment (based on the merger of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development); Department of Science and Technology (based on the merger of the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology); Department of Home Affairs (based on the merger of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs). The new departments will officially operate from March 1, 2025.
At the same time, announce the decisions of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on leaders and managers of agencies and units.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment was appointed as Director of the Department of Finance. The Deputy Directors appointed include Mr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Ms. Le Thanh Tung, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Ms. Ho Ngoc Phuong, Ms. Dang Dinh Duc, and Ms. Phan Duy Anh.
Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam - Chief of Office of the City People's Committee was appointed as Director of the Department of Construction. The appointed Deputy Directors of the Department include: Mr. Tran Van Hoang, Mr. Dinh The Vinh, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Mr. Vo Tan Ha, Mr. Dang Nam Son, and Mr. Luong Thach Vy.
Mr. Pham Nam Son - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment. The Deputy Directors of the Department appointed include Mr. Nguyen Hong An, Ms. Dang Quang Vinh, Mr. Vo Nguyen Chuong, Mr. Tran Quoc Hung, Mr. Vu Thi Bich Hau, Mr. Phan Van My, and Mr. Nguyen Van Lam.
Mr. Le Duc Vien - Director of the Department of Science and Technology was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology. The appointed Deputy Directors of the Department include Mr. Duong Hoang Van Ban, Ms. Le Thi Thuc, Ms. Le Son Phong, and Ms. Tran Ngoc Thach.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Loi - Director of the Department of Home Affairs was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs. The appointed Deputy Directors of the Department include Mr. Le Phu Nguyen, Ms. Tran Trung Son, Ha Duc Hoai, Nguyen The Tuan, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, and Nguyen Thanh Nam.
At the Conference, decisions were also made to appoint and transfer civil servants to lead and manage agencies and units. Accordingly, Mr. Le Tu Gia Thanh - Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee was transferred to work at the City People's Committee Office and appointed to the position of Chief of Office of the City People's Committee.
Transferred Mr. Dang Dinh Duc (Director of the Da Nang Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research) and Mr. Phan Duy Anh (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Vang District) to work at the Department of Finance and appointed them to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Finance.
Transfer Mr. Le Minh Tuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (former) to work at the Department of Foreign Affairs and appoint him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Transfer Mr. Phan Van Son - Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Committee to work at the Department of Health and appoint him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health.
Transfer Mr. Nguyen Tan Hai - Head of the City Food Safety Management Board to work at the Department of Industry and Trade and appoint him to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
Transfer Ms. Nguyen Thu Phuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications to work at the Department of Culture and Sports, appoint her to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports.
Assign Ms. Huynh Lien Phuong - Director of the Investment Promotion and Support Board and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Viet - Vice Chairman of Son Tra District People's Committee to work at the City People's Committee Office and appoint them to the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the City People's Committee.
Transfer Mr. Ho Thuyen - Chairman of Thanh Khe District People's Committee to work at Hai Chau District People's Committee and appoint him to the position of Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee.
The conference also announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. Accordingly, Mr. Phan Thanh Long - Chief Inspector of the City was accepted to work at the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Kim Trung - Deputy Director of the City Police Department was accepted to work under a temporary public secondment regime at the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
The Conference also awarded the Decision on early retirement to Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications (former); Mr. Nguyen Van Phung - Director of the Department of Finance (former); Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport (former); Mr. Tran Thu - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance (former); Mr. Nguyen Dung Sy - Deputy Head of the Food Safety Management Board; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Dang Chi Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs (former).
Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang congratulated the organizational apparatus after being arranged in the direction of streamlining and effective operation and congratulated the collectives and individuals who have been arranged, arranged, appointed, and assigned to new positions in the organizational apparatus.
