On the morning of August 20, comrades: Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the joint conference between the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to unify the content and agenda of the 17th Provincial People's Council session, term 2021 - 2026 to resolve urgent matters. Attending the conference were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and a number of branches and units of the province.

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the reports of the Provincial People's Committee expected to be considered, discussed and approved by the Provincial People's Council at the meeting, including: Report on giving opinions on the impact of implementing the investment project to build the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway, the section through Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces under the public-private partnership model; Report on issuing a resolution regulating the authority to decide on investment and procurement of information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds from the state budget under the management of Thai Binh province; Report on approving the Resolution adjusting the Price List of land types for the period 2020 - 2024 in Thai Binh province, attached to Resolution No. 22/2019/NQ-HDND dated December 31, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council; Report on approving the investment policy for the urgent treatment of the riverside dike protection embankment, section from K0+350 to K0+750 and raising and completing the dike cross-section from K0+400 to K2+000, the Huu Hoa river mouth dike in Thuy Quynh commune, Thai Thuy district; Report on approving the investment policy for the project to invest in the construction of an infectious disease treatment facility and some auxiliary items of Vu Thu General Hospital, Thai Ninh General Hospital and Dong Hung General Hospital; Report on changing the purpose of using rice-growing land to implement projects in Thai Binh province; Report on electing additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. The meeting will also carry out a number of other important contents.

Comrade Dang Thanh Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, made a speech to clarify some contents of the reports submitted to the Provincial People's Council, emphasizing that the reports are very necessary and urgent to promptly resolve difficulties, serving the socio-economic development tasks of the province. Regarding some issues raised by delegates, the Provincial People's Committee will direct relevant departments and branches to study and advise on implementation solutions after the Provincial People's Council issues a resolution so that projects can be implemented soon, ensuring progress, quality, and effectively promoting investment resources.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, spoke to receive the opinions of the delegates; requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments, branches and units to urgently complete the submissions to ensure compliance with the law, especially the urgent contents that need to be supplemented must be carefully prepared, in the right order, ensuring quality, otherwise they will be submitted to the next session.
