The 9th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council: Discussing and questioning many issues of concern to voters

Continuing the ninth session program, on the morning of December 12, the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2021 - 2026, held a discussion and question-and-answer session in the hall.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council reported on the synthesis of discussion opinions at the two discussion sessions on the afternoon of December 10-11. Delegates and leaders of a number of sectors spoke at the hall on many contents related to socio-economic development, mobilizing resources for new rural construction, improving the quality of the grassroots health system, implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, crime prevention and control, and ensuring national defense and security.

Delegate Nguyen Manh Tuong, Tien Hai group, discussed the content of assessment and comments on the socio-economic situation in 2024; goals, tasks, and solutions for 2025; current situation and solutions to mobilize capital from the people to serve production.

Comrade Vu Kim Cu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, discussed the content focusing on developing Thai Binh Economic Zone to become a key point, a driving force for development, creating competitiveness for Thai Binh province.

Delegate Vu Xuan Hung, Quynh Phu group proposed solutions to mobilize and connect resources, build specific and strong policies and mechanisms to strive to build advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas with the highest results commensurate with the potential and strengths of the province in the coming time.

In the health sector, Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa, Director of the Department of Health, discussed the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of the grassroots health system to meet the needs of medical examination, treatment and health care of people in the province in the coming time.

Comrade Ha Tien Thang, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, discussed the implementation of Resolution 1201/NQ-UBTVQH, dated September 28, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Thai Binh province for the period 2023 - 2025.

Comrade Pham Viet Vuong, Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, discussed the crime situation and the situation of disputes and lawsuits in the province in 2024; results of the prosecution work in 2024, directions and tasks in 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tue, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, discussed the content: results of local defense and military work in 2024 and the implementation of selection and calling of citizens to join the army in 2025.

Colonel Tran Xuan Anh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, discussed the content of the security and order situation in the province and the role of the communal police force in protecting local security and order; continuing to promote the implementation of the project "Developing applications of population data, electronic identification and authentication, serving national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030" in Thai Binh province.

Comrade Vu Thanh Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, discussed the results of the Front's work in participating in government building.
