President Vo Van Thuong and the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate King An Duong Vuong, who was conferred the title of God by the Le - Nguyen feudal dynasties with respect and admiration as "a great talent in the world" who had the merit of founding the country and ordered the people of Co Loa to forever worship him at Co Loa Temple.
After thousands of years of building and defending the country, Co Loa still preserves and maintains many historical values, traditional culture imbued with national identity. In particular, in the early period of building the country, the land of Co Loa was marked by a heroic history associated with the historical figure Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong, the successor of the Hung King era, who had the merit of founding the Au Lac country. The King moved the capital from Phong Chau (Bach Hac area, Viet Tri, Phu Tho) to Co Loa; built the citadel, fought against the enemy, preserved national sovereignty and developed agricultural production, expanding the country in the 3rd century BC.
The incense offering ceremony in memory of King An Duong Vuong aims to pay tribute to the ancestors who built and defended the country, and at the same time, educate the younger generation and all classes of people in society about the traditional morality of remembering the source of water, promoting historical values in the cause of innovation and national construction.
At the Relic Site, the President planted a souvenir tree at the Ngoc Well Area located within the premises of the Co Loa Special National Relic Site.
Later this morning, President Vo Van Thuong visited and presented gifts to the elderly and local people at the Community Activity Center of the Cultural House of Residential Groups No. 2, 3, and 4, Dong Anh Town.
Wishing the elderly and the people a Happy New Year, the President expressed his joy at the many developments in Dong Anh district in recent times, with a spacious and clean urban area and a strong rural development while still preserving the soul of the countryside.
The President hopes that in the coming time, the district's socio-economy will continue to develop, and the people will continue to maintain the neighborly spirit, help each other in times of need, and help each other improve their lives.

Later this morning, the President visited the operating model of the Dong Anh Cultural - Information and Sports Center. Here, hundreds of students from Nguyen Huy Tuong Secondary School, Dong Anh District are participating in the 2024 Traditional Education Program, which includes films introducing the glorious history of our nation in the process of building and defending the country.
The President hopes that students will remember the history of the school, of writer Nguyen Huy Tuong, of the history of Dong Anh and the country. Recalling the letter sent to teachers and students on the opening day of the 2023-2024 school year, the President sees a bright future for the country in the vitality and noble dreams and ambitions of the students.
The President hopes that students will maximize their abilities and strengths, contribute to their families, society and country; and that every day they go to school, they will feel joy and have the opportunity to learn about the history of their locality, Hanoi, country and people; and deepen their dreams and aspirations to confidently integrate into society, step out into the world, and not be inferior to any youth of any country.

Earlier this morning, President Vo Van Thuong and the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to teachers and students of Phuc Loc Kindergarten, Uy No Commune, Dong Anh District. The school has more than 400 students from 2 to 6 years old. The President visited the facilities, visited some teaching and learning models of the school, and listened to the students sing songs about their beloved school.
