Chairman Do Van Chien works with officials of the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province

On the afternoon of August 15, the inspection delegation of the Central Party Secretariat visited and worked with the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee. Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien visited and worked with officials and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province.

Also attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy and Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Dong Hai.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province Vu Thanh Van reported on the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province. Mr. Van said that currently, the provincial Fatherland Front agency has spacious facilities and working equipment that meet the requirements of the task. The provincial Fatherland Front system includes the provincial level, 8 districts, cities, 260 communes, wards, towns and 1,797 Front Work Committees in residential areas. The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province no longer implements the mechanism of the Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee concurrently holding the position of Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee.

Regarding professional work, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province is focusing on implementing Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee. In particular, the work of uniting religions has always been focused on, with many movements such as "4 exemplary pagodas" and "4 exemplary parishes and parishes" being maintained and developed.

Regarding the work of social supervision and criticism, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has improved its quality and efficiency and has been allocated funding by the province. In addition, the program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households is also being focused on, with the goal of completion by 2026.

In the coming time, in addition to implementing the directions of the Central Fatherland Front and the Provincial Party Committee, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will focus on implementing the Program to support the elimination of dilapidated houses according to the goals and plans. Advise on the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels and elections of People's Councils at all levels. Focus on building and replicating the model of "Self-governed, safe, prosperous and happy residential areas" in Thai Binh province.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province coordinated to present gifts to 300 Dien Bien soldiers in the province, and advised the province to organize a solemn, warm and affectionate meeting with Dien Bien Phu soldiers. Every year, 100% of residential areas in the province maintain the organization of the National Great Unity Day, many residential areas organized a great unity meal. During the recent Lunar New Year, from the province's budget, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province did a good job of giving gifts to poor households in the whole province.

Talking with officials and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Binh province, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien expressed his joy when knowing that the staff and civil servants of the agency all have extensive working experience, are arranged from many different sources, and the agency's facilities ensure to meet work requirements.

Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized that although the work of the Front is difficult, it is a noble task, trusted by the Party and loved by the People. Therefore, the Front's staff must strive to overcome difficulties to fulfill their roles and tasks well.

One of the key tasks that Chairman Do Van Chien paid special attention to was the implementation of the Program to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor households. The Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh needs to focus on mobilizing resources to complete the goal of supporting the elimination of nearly 2,000 dilapidated houses in 2025, a year with many major national holidays, including the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Chairman Do Van Chien also highly appreciated and encouraged the replication of typical models such as “4 Model Pagodas”, “4 Model Parishes” to unite and gather religious people. At the same time, he requested the Fatherland Front at all levels in Thai Binh to focus on improving the quality and replicating the model of “Self-governed, safe, prosperous and happy residential areas” that the province is implementing.

On this occasion, Chairman Do Van Chien expressed his gratitude to the Party Committees and authorities of Thai Binh province for creating favorable conditions for the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to fulfill its noble role and tasks.
