The Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense (PCTT, TKCN&PTDS) of Thanh Hoa province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 33 to the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of districts, towns, cities and related departments, branches and units to proactively respond to storm TRAMI.

According to the forecast bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tropical depression in the sea east of the Philippines has strengthened into a storm (TRAMI); by the afternoon of October 24, the storm entered the East Sea with a level 10 intensity, gusting to level 12; by 1:00 p.m. on October 25, the storm strengthened to level 11, gusting to level 14, the danger zone is from latitude 15 - 20 degrees North, east of longitude 115 degrees East.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 7966/CD-BNN-DD dated October 22, 2024 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; to proactively respond to storm TRAMI, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense requests the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention of coastal districts, towns and cities and relevant departments, branches and units to closely monitor the storm's developments; strictly manage means of transport going out to sea; organize counting and notify owners of means of transport, captains of ships and boats operating at sea of ​​the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm to proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas. Dangerous areas in the next 72 hours: From latitude 15 - 20 degrees North latitude, east of longitude 115 degrees East longitude (dangerous areas are adjusted in forecast bulletins).

Ready forces and means for rescue when required.

Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Thanh Hoa Coastal Information Station, and grassroots information systems have increased measures to inform local authorities, owners of vessels operating at sea, and people about the storm's developments to proactively prevent and respond.

Organize on-duty seriously, regularly report to the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and the Standing Office of the Provincial Command for Civil Defense, Natural Disaster Response and Search and Rescue.
