Every year, the Khau Vai market (in Khau Vai commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province) is held only once on the 27th day of the third lunar month. Over the past 100 years since its establishment, the Khau Vai market has become a unique and distinctive cultural feature of the ethnic people of Meo Vac district in particular and Ha Giang province in general.
