The schools have not yet provided information on the admission methods. Last year, the eighth grade of the police school used three methods: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; direct admission combined with international language certificates and high school graduation exam scores; admission combined with high school graduation exam scores and the Ministry of Public Security's competency assessment test scores.
Last year's benchmark scores for police schools ranged from 14.01 to 24.94. The Party Building and State Administration major at the People's Public Security Academy had the highest benchmark score. Female candidates in the North applying for this major must score 24.94 points.
The formula for calculating the admission score of the Ministry of Public Security is as follows:
Admission score = Total score of three graduation exams *2/5 + Assessment exam score *3/5 + Priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training + Bonus points for excellent students at the national level.
