The Government Office has just sent a document to the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the promulgation of the List of key energy-using establishments in 2022, conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha as follows:
The Ministry of Industry and Trade needs to seriously learn from the experience of delaying the issuance of the List of key energy-using establishments in 2022. At the same time, clarify the causes and have solutions to ensure the time for submitting and issuing the annual List in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of Decree No. 21 dated March 29, 2011 of the Government.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade clarifies the necessity of issuing the List of key energy-using establishments in 2022 at present. In cases where it is not really necessary and is only a formality, the List of key energy-using establishments in 2022 will not be issued.
If necessary, coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to conduct additional reviews of large data centers of information technology enterprises and ministries and branches to complete the List and submit it to the Prime Minister for consideration and promulgation.
Previously, the Government issued a list of 3,068 key energy-using facilities in 2021.

The list of remaining energy-using establishments belongs to other provinces and localities.
