(BTNO) - On February 11, the Steering Committee of the sustainable forestry development program of Tay Ninh province for the period 2021-2025 (Steering Committee) announced that the forest fire warning in the province is at an extremely dangerous level.

Forest owners and forest rangers continue to organize information and propaganda on forest fire forecast levels to people living near forests and forest edges, and households contracted to plant forests must regularly inspect and strictly patrol key fire-prone areas; ensure the deployment of forest fire prevention and fighting forces 24/7.

Forest firefighting forces must be regularly deployed on fire watchtowers and outside forest sites, especially in key areas at risk of fire, especially during peak hot hours, to promptly detect fire spots to raise the alarm and mobilize forces and means to extinguish the fire immediately.

Forest rangers regularly use cameras to monitor forest fires in the Con Tran hamlet area (Dau Tieng Protective Forest).

Forest owners review their fire prevention and fighting plans to update, adjust and supplement the plan to suit the actual situation. In particular, forest fire prevention and fighting work must be carried out in accordance with the 4 on-site motto (on-site forces, on-site means, on-site logistics, on-site command), and have plans ready to quickly mobilize forces and means when a forest fire occurs.
