At the forum "National Aesthetic Technology Innovation Startup 2024", experts shared their vision and development strategy for the beauty industry based on practices and experiences in several countries and proposed directions for the development of Vietnam's beauty industry; Organized skill exchanges, creative startups in the beauty industry, transferred science and technology in the beauty industry, and connected foreign investment in the beauty industry of Vietnam.
Along with the rapid development of the world's pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, along with the increasingly improved living standards of Vietnamese people, the picture of Vietnam's beauty industry has become increasingly rich. Thousands of businesses, training centers, spas, clinics, and hospitals operating in the field of aesthetics have opened and developed rapidly. Many beauty industry experts believe that the next decade will be the "Golden Decade" of the spa and cosmetic industries, and that is also an opportunity for beauty startups to develop.
However, along with the opportunities are challenges when beauty establishments do not have enough equipment systems, modern technology and especially do not have enough human resources in the field of beauty with expertise and formal training, leading to undesirable consequences.
Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa, Chairman of the National Startup Association, spoke at the forum.
Sharing at the forum, Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa, Chairman of the National Startup Association said: “The need for beauty and health care is always an essential need and a right of everyone. And the business in the beauty and health industry has existed for a long time and has made great contributions to people's lives and the prosperity of many countries. And that is a great opportunity for those with an entrepreneurial spirit to choose to develop their careers.
Therefore, we need to have programs to discuss strategic directions for developing the strengths of Vietnam's beauty industry, thereby developing the entrepreneurial spirit, creating many owners in the beauty industry, creating more jobs, sharing more business results as well as creating more values to contribute to Vietnam's dreams and aspirations.
Mr. Jang Hyo Kwan, Chairman of the Korean Medical Aesthetics Association shared: “The relationship between Vietnam and Korea has long been close and connected. In my opinion, in Vietnam, the spa and beauty business infrastructure is convenient and through that infrastructure, I see that in Korea there are advanced technologies and if that technology is combined with the spa infrastructure in Vietnam, the cooperation between the two sides will develop further. Vietnam and Korea have many similarities, Korea always considers Vietnam as its closest friend. Hopefully, the cooperation between Vietnam and Korea will open up many successful business opportunities and expand the markets in Asia, India, and Europe. I am sure that Vietnam will become the country with the most potential business environment in the Southeast Asian market. I would like to thank the National Startup Association for welcoming us to participate in the program”.
