The project “Buc Tuong Unplugged – May Rain” was conceived in 2012 after the meeting of the late musician Tran Lap, Guitarist Tran Tuan Hung and Musician Tran Thanh Phuong in Hanoi . However, it was not until today that Buc Tuong had all the necessary elements for the project to take place. These are time, experience, stories through ups and downs, technical factors and the support of the most excellent brothers and friends.

Guitarist Tran Tuan Hung shared: "May Rain - Can be understood as things that have passed, experienced the showers of youth and the most violent storms. This is a song that is typical of the music genre that Buc Tuong will perform in this Concert, and is also the only joint composition of Tran Tuan Hung and Tran Lap. Unplugged - The concept of a Rock show is performed with pure rustic instruments, from Acoustic Guitars, Pianos or Jazz drums or string orchestras... and then 29 of Buc Tuong's best songs are arranged with new, emotional arrangements that we rarely encounter in a wonderful space like Ho Guom Theater. There, Buc Tuong will tell the story of its wonderful 29-year journey".

Guitarist Tran Tuan Hung also said that the band has performed in many theaters, but this is the first time they have performed a solo live show. The nature of the music of Buc Tuong requires an open space for thousands, tens of thousands of people, so the band had never thought of doing a live show in a theater before.

"This will be a live show for all ages, it's comfortable, it will be very emotional and interesting," Guitarist Tran Tuan Hung promised.

Musician Tran Thanh Phuong - Music Director of the program, revealed that this live show is for the band to tell stories in the way of real men, not the very "notorious" way of telling stories like they did when they were young.

The live show "Buc Tuong Unplugged - Con mua thang May" in addition to the band Buc Tuong including guitarist Tran Tuan Hung, guitarist Vu Van Ha, bassist Tang Xuan Kien, drummer Pham Trung Hieu, also has guest singers: Pham Anh Khoa, Duong Tran Nghia, Nguyen Viet Lam, Nguyen Nhat Minh, Vu Thanh Van. These are singers who have collaborated with Buc Tuong in the past, in which Vu Thanh Van is a female singer.

The band Bức Tường has left a special mark with 7 studio albums and Liveshows, Tours across Vietnam that have exploded many generations of music listeners. In 2016, the leader, main vocalist and composer of the songs of Bức Tường passed away, leaving a big void in the presence of Bức Tường after 21 years. For Bức Tường and all the loving audiences, Trần Lập is forever the soul and inspiration on this journey that is not strewn with roses.

Over the past 8 years, Buc Tuong has gradually returned to music with constant efforts and creativity.
