That is the sharing of Ms. Hoang Thi Quy, owner of a plum garden in Moc Chau (Son La) - one of the gardens that has attracted many tourists to check-in in the season. plum blossoms. This is also the plum garden that appeared in the video of tourists climbing trees to shake plum blossoms to fall to take pictures in Moc Chau.

Sad story of plum blossom season

This year plum blossoms all over the Northwest are blooming at their most beautiful right on time. Lunar New Year. Many gardens open their doors to visitors for photography. Along with beautiful photos and footage, there are also many tragic stories.

To create a movie-like effect, many tourists do not hesitate to shake the plum trees to make the flowers fall for slow motion shots.

While the clip of three female tourists shaking plum blossoms in Lao Cai has not yet cooled down, the clip of a male tourist climbing up a plum tree to shake the flowers off has become a hot topic of discussion on social media. social network.

Immediately after being shared on social media, the clip received hundreds of thousands of views and hundreds of comments. All comments expressed opposition to the unsightly behavior while traveling.

In the clip, a male tourist climbs a high branch of a tree, stepping on two plum branches with both feet. He uses his hands to shake the plum branches vigorously to create the effect of falling flowers. Below, a female tourist walks slowly, posing for filming and taking photos.

Vi Ngoc Van was indignant: "If you shake the flowers like this, what's left of the year? You work hard all year just to wait for the day to pick the fruit, and you pay 30,000 VND each time to take pictures, and you have no sense of responsibility. Shaking all the flowers like this, what's left of the people's crops?"

Dress well, please behave well!

During spring, everyone dresses up to check in and take pictures with millions of likes to post on social networks. Surely no one wants to see themselves in awkward stories or be the focus of criticism like the tourists in the two clips above.

However, even unintentionally, these unsightly images directly affect plum growers.

In Moc Chau (Son La) or Ta Van Chu (Lao Cai), plum trees are the main fruit crop of the local people. Opening the garden to experience the flower season is just a side activity.

According to Ms. Hoang Thi Quy, owner of a plum garden in Moc Chau, the flowering stage is very important for the fruit yield of plum trees. Climbing the tree and shaking the branches causes the flowers to fall off and no fruit to set.

"Many tourists have the mentality that if they spend 30,000 VND on a garden, they must make sure it is worth the money they spend. In previous years, visitors were very conscious of preserving the garden, but this is the first time this has happened.

"If visitors only come to the garden to visit and see the flowers, without touching the plum flowers, the fruit set rate is 100%, but if they shake the tree to make all the flowers fall, 80% of the time they won't be able to bear fruit," Ms. Quy shared.

Garden owners have opened plum blossom viewing services in the hope of earning extra income outside of the main fruit season, but the act of shaking trees has affected people's main fruit season.

Mr. Tan Seo Hy, the owner of a plum garden in Lao Cai, let visitors into his garden to take pictures of plum blossoms for the first time and couldn't help but feel sorry for his 7-year-old plum garden.

Many tourists, wanting to take beautiful photos, do not hesitate to shake the flowers so hard that they fall, even though there are signs warning against picking flowers, breaking branches, or littering...

"The unsightly actions like shaking branches and picking flowers make us very sad. The plum garden is so big that it is impossible to manage and supervise everything.

We hope that every visitor who comes to the garden to visit and take photos will be aware of preserving the landscape so that visitors who come later will still have beautiful scenery to see and experience," said Mr. Tan Seo Hy.

Readers expressed "luckily they paid 30,000 VND, otherwise if I paid 300,000 VND they would have taken the whole tree".

I think, even though you have to pay a ticket to enter the garden, as the old saying goes, "handle it like holding an egg, catch it like catching a flower", if you've gone to the trouble of dressing up to take pictures in the garden, you should behave as beautifully as the picture posted on Facebook.
