Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh presented the decision to appoint comrade Tran Tuan Ngoc to hold the position of Director of the National Remote Sensing Department.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Pham Tan Tuyen, member of the Party Committee, Chief of the Party Committee Office, Chief of the Ministry Office; comrade Dang Ngoc Diep, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance; comrade Nguyen Kim Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel; comrade Nguyen Duc Phu, Director of the Ministry's Construction Investment Project Management Board; comrade Nguyen Tien Duy, Deputy Chief of the Party Committee Office, Secretary of the Minister and representatives of the leaders of the units under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the National Remote Sensing Department.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh congratulated comrade Tran Tuan Ngoc on being trusted and appointed by the Party Committee to hold the position of Director of the National Remote Sensing Department.

Therefore, it is necessary to promote the application of remote sensing technology in monitoring resources and the environment. The Minister emphasized that when the remote sensing industry demonstrates its role and raises its position, the role and position of the Ministry will also be raised, so it is necessary to coordinate with agencies within the ministry and localities to effectively perform the tasks and responsibilities of the remote sensing industry.
