Accordingly, implementing Notice No. 1319-TB/TU, dated September 26, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of cadres to the position of Director of the Department of Transport, on September 27, 2024, the Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 2739/QD-UBND on the appointment of Mr. Hoang Dang Cuong, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Department of Transport to hold the position of Director of the Quang Binh Department of Transport from October 1, 2024. The term of office is 5 years.
Presenting the decision to appoint the Director of the Quang Binh Department of Transport, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thang emphasized that Comrade Hoang Dang Cuong is an officer who has grown up in the transport sector, has many years of working in the sector, and has a lot of experience in leading and directing the implementation of the sector's tasks. In the past time, Comrade Hoang Dang Cuong, together with the collective leadership, officers and employees of the Department of Transport, actively advised the province on major, strategic issues in socio-economic development, including the transport sector.
The Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the provincial transport sector has achieved in the past time; at the same time, he noted that there is not much time left from now until the end of the 2020-2025 term, the whole province is focusing on implementing the final tasks to successfully complete the tasks set out in the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. Along with that, many important tasks are being carried out to prepare for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that Comrade Hoang Dang Cuong, in his new position, with the responsibility of a leader, needs to continue to promote his capacity, strengths and role as a nucleus to gather solidarity and unity in the entire Party Committee and agencies and units. According to the assigned functions, tasks and powers, actively advise the provincial leaders in performing tasks in the field of transport and effectively implement these tasks. The new Director of the Quang Binh Department of Transport, Hoang Dang Cuong, thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for trusting and assigning him new responsibilities and tasks.

On the afternoon of October 1, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province also held a conference to announce and present the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.
Specifically, implementing Notice No. 1322-TB/TU, dated September 26, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of officials to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, on September 27, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 2738/QD-UBND on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Hoi City to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction from October 1, 2024. The term of office is 5 years.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the capacity and working process of Comrade Nguyen Duc Cuong, who is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots and has a lot of practical experience in leading and directing the implementation of tasks. Emphasizing that the Construction industry is a special industry, especially in the field of planning and implementation of planning, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in his new position, Comrade Nguyen Duc Cuong will continue to strive, improve his leadership and management capacity, unite and unify with the collective leadership, cadres and employees of the Department of Construction to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
