On the afternoon of July 21, comrade Nguyen Chi Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Planning and Investment chaired an online conference of the Ministry of Planning and Investment to review the work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023.

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has completed many important projects and reports; in which the projects, reports and advisory recommendations are consistent with the Party and State's innovation viewpoint, always taking people and businesses as the center of priority service, focusing on removing difficulties, encouraging innovation, start-ups and creativity to make the most of the country's development opportunities; most of the projects, plans and recommendations of the Ministry have been approved by competent authorities. In the first 6 months of 2023, the Ministry has also resolutely resolved recommendations and proposals from localities, ministries and branches. Although it is one of the ministries receiving the largest number of recommendations and proposals, the Ministry's resolution rate is also among the highest; as of July 10, 2023, the Ministry has completed processing 166/177 recommendations, reaching 94%. Along with that, the Ministry of Planning and Investment closely monitors and regularly analyzes and forecasts the situation, on that basis, promptly proposes solutions to advise the Government and the Prime Minister in managing socio-economic development; focuses on and prioritizes the building and improvement of institutions, reviews, proposes amendments and supplements to legal documents within its management scope.

In his concluding remarks, the Minister of Planning and Investment respectfully thanked the close coordination of ministries, branches and localities in the process of implementing the tasks; at the same time, requested that in the coming time, localities as well as the entire planning and investment sector continue to affirm and enhance their position in advisory and synthesis work; concretize and actively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the Central Executive Committee on renewing the growth model, effectively implementing the process of international economic integration, developing the private economy; constantly innovate the methods of direction and administration, closely follow the world and domestic economic situation to promptly advise on appropriate solutions and policies, thereby effectively implementing the set goals, tasks and socio-economic development plans; Strengthen research, reduce and simplify regulations related to production and business activities, create favorable conditions to support businesses and investors when entering and operating in the market according to the provisions of law...
