Responding to questions from delegates, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said that due to historical existence and inadequacies in infrastructure that do not comply with fire prevention and fighting standards, it is impossible to immediately overcome these shortcomings and limitations, requiring a roadmap for comprehensive planning solutions.
Besides, the work of reviewing, supplementing, amending and developing legal documents, regulations and standards on fire prevention and fighting has not kept up with the speed of socio-economic development.
Regarding immediate solutions, according to Minister Luong Tam Quang, the Ministry of Public Security will coordinate with relevant agencies to conduct a comprehensive review of fire prevention and fighting safety to assess the current situation and find solutions to minimize damage caused by fire and explosion. Coordinate with the mass media to spend time promoting and recommending knowledge and skills in fire prevention and fighting.
The Ministry of Public Security also advised the Government to submit to the National Assembly an amendment to the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue; the draft was first commented on by the National Assembly at the 7th Session and is expected to be approved at the 8th Session, overcoming limitations and shortcomings in fire prevention and fighting work; At the same time, coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop standards for individual housing and general requirements to meet fire prevention and fighting requirements...

Regarding this content, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang said that, implementing the Law on Identification and the Law on Electronic Transactions, the Ministry of Public Security has issued Circular 28 to create a legal basis for the Traffic Police force to perform the tasks of checking, temporarily detaining, revoking documents and registering vehicles on the VNeID National Identification Application.
