(TN&MT) - On the afternoon of February 15, at the Lao Cai Provincial Conference Center, a conference was held to announce the Politburo's Decision approving the position of Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term for Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong.
Attending the conference were Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee, Party Executive Committee, leaders of departments, branches and localities of Lao Cai province...
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced Decision No. 1903 dated February 12, 2025 of the Politburo approving Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province to hold the position of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On behalf of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's approval decision to the new Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, congratulated Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong on being entrusted by the Politburo to assume the important responsibility of Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee emphasized: Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong is a well-trained cadre, with good professional qualifications, strong political will, and has matured through many working positions in different units of Lao Cai province, from specialist of the Economic Department, Department of Construction to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee... Regardless of his position, he always strives to complete his tasks well and makes important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the agencies, localities, and units where he works. Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong is assessed by the Politburo as a cadre with capacity and scientific, democratic working methods, close to the grassroots...
Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung believes that with his experience and dedication to Lao Cai province, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong will successfully complete the tasks entrusted to him by the Politburo. At the same time, he also requested the new Secretary and comrades in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors in Lao Cai province to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing, accompanying, supporting and assisting the Provincial Party Secretary to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 16th Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the Central Organizing Committee and the Central Party Committees for their attention and trust in assigning him to take on the important responsibility of Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary, following the task of Mr. Dang Xuan Phong who was mobilized and assigned by the Central Committee to hold the position of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Secretary. He thanked generations of cadres and leaders of Lao Cai province; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, all levels, sectors and people in Lao Cai province for always trusting and supporting him throughout the past time and the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for trusting him to hold this important responsibility.
This is a great honor, and at the same time a great responsibility before the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Lao Cai province.
