Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Director of Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment said: In the current context, the merger of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has been identified by the Party and State as an important step in implementing the administrative reform strategy; towards a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient state apparatus. In Dong Nai, the province has also decided to establish the Department of Agriculture and Environment to ensure time, early organization and implementation of activities, meeting work requirements, this is also the pride of the industry.
With the long tradition and many achievements, the great achievements of the two sectors of Natural Resources and Environment and Agriculture and Rural Development, along with the solid foundations that have been inherited, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh also believes that: Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment will always continuously develop, always successfully complete the assigned goals and tasks. Speaking at the Conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said: On February 27, 2025, Dong Nai Provincial People's Council issued Resolution No. 10 on the establishment of Dong Nai Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, effective from March 1, 2025. On the same day, the Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued decisions on the transfer and appointment of the Director and Deputy Directors of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to soon complete the apparatus, put it into operation, without interruption of work, without time gaps, without affecting the normal activities of people and society.
In order for the new apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee suggested: The Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to urgently and effectively implement the Project to establish the Department approved by Dong Nai Provincial People's Council; ensure all necessary conditions for the departments and affiliated units to operate according to the arrangement plan from March 1, 2025; urgently develop and promulgate the Department's Working Regulations, specifying the functions and tasks of each department and unit to effectively and continuously implement the tasks under the management responsibility of the industry.
At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai province should promptly review and take steps to improve Party work in the new apparatus, study regulations and instructions of superior agencies to soon organize the Party Congress of the Department, establish the Party Committee of the Department; urgently review and handle problems in the system of legal documents in the fields of Natural Resources and Environment and Agriculture and Rural Development; advise on updating, adjusting and perfecting legal documents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring the completion of the processing corridor to resolve work in a connected, continuous and uninterrupted manner; administrative procedures need to be completed so as not to affect the management and operations of people and businesses.
