Confirming with Tuoi Tre Online , Tran Kieu Oanh (born in 1987, living in Luc Nam, Bac Giang province, currently working as a literature teacher and working part-time in the field of aesthetics) said that she was the bride in the unique wedding photo set mentioned above. The photo set was taken by her and her husband in January 2025, 1 week before the wedding day.
Oanh said she has liked this idea for a long time. Every time she looks at photos in the style of the 1970s - 1980s, she always feels impressed and never bored.
"I always thought that if I got married, I would take a photo shoot like this. Especially, before that, I never thought I would get married for the second time," Oanh shared.
According to Oanh, marriage is a matter of a hundred years. However, nowadays everyone has a huge ego, there are marriages that only last a few years. However, in the time of grandparents and parents, after many events, they still stayed together until old age. Oanh tells herself that no one is born compatible with anyone, just knowing how to accept each other will make it compatible.
"Since meeting him, someone with a high ego like me has changed my mind and decided to get married after many years of struggling with life alone. That's also the reason why I want to have a wedding photo album from my grandparents' and parents' time like this. I hope that no matter what the circumstances or conditions are, we still know how to cherish our feelings and know what is enough in happiness," Oanh continued.

Oanh and her husband asked nearby studios to present their ideas. However, they were not interested and said it was difficult to do. Then, Oanh accidentally found a photographer in Ninh Binh who posted a photo series with a similar idea on their wedding anniversary. Therefore, the couple decided to travel 200km from Bac Giang to Ninh Binh to take the photo series.
Oanh shared that the crew prepared the costumes and props according to her agreement. The most difficult part was finding extras.
"Luckily, the crew still helped me carry out this smoothly. We took the photos in 1 day. Everyone was extremely cooperative and on the same wavelength. Even though it was the first time we met, it was as if we had known each other for a long time. In the photo shoot, I also invited my sister and niece to participate. The other two children are the studio owner's children. Everyone enjoyed the photo shoot," Oanh said.
Nguyen Tien Dung (born in 1989, Oanh's husband) said they live 20km apart. He is 2 years younger than Oanh. They met by chance and fell in love when they started climbing mountains together. After that, they talked gradually and found they were compatible and understood each other in a special way.
"That made her go from thinking about never getting married, wanting to freely fly around and explore, to wanting to "turn around" and settle down with her family," he said.

Oanh added: "We met a few times and felt like we had known each other for a long time. Within 5 months of knowing each other, we decided to get married."

Through this photo series, the couple wants to convey that in the time of our grandparents and parents, weddings were very simple but still very special, solemn, and sincere. Despite going through many storms, people still happily bonded together until old age. That is something that our young generation today cannot do.
