Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong received a delegation from Saint Petersburg City, Russian Federation

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee received Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich, Chairman of the Saint Petersburg City Archives Committee.

On behalf of the leaders of Dien Bien province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong expressed his joy and excitement when welcoming Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich and his delegation to visit Dien Bien province. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee introduced to Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich the natural conditions, socio-economic development situation and potentials and strengths in the fields of agriculture, tourism, culture and energy of Dien Bien province. Especially the advantages of developing local agricultural products such as rice, macadamia, coffee, etc.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and provincial departments and branches took souvenir photos with the delegation.

Introducing the characteristics, strengths and sharing the development orientations of historical tourism with the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield relic complex, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong expressed his hope that in the coming time, the working delegation will support with experience and techniques in the work of preserving and storing relics, documents, artifacts and displaying scientific artifacts; create conditions for organizing exhibitions, displays, and introductions to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in Saint Petersburg City; support and coordinate with Dien Bien province to organize delegations of officials and people to visit and learn about history at relic sites, museums... during the war to defend the Fatherland of the Russian Federation, including Saint Petersburg City. In terms of economy, Dien Bien province wishes to trade a number of goods in various fields to serve socio-economic development.

Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich, Chairman of the Archives Committee of Saint Petersburg City, thanked the provincial leaders for their warm welcome and shared his feelings about the land and people of Dien Bien. He also informed about the organization of an exhibition on the history of the Russian Federation in general and Saint Petersburg City in particular. On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Saint Petersburg City, Mr. Tishhenko Pyotr Evgenievich respectfully invited the leaders of Dien Bien Province to visit Saint Petersburg City in the near future.
