Vote for 15 outstanding literary and artistic events in 2024

(Fatherland) - On the morning of December 27, the Literature and Arts Times in collaboration with the Vietnam Literature and Arts Creation Support Fund organized a vote for 15 typical Literature and Arts events in 2024.

Organizing the Voting for 15 typical Literature and Arts events in 2024 is a particularly meaningful activity, not only to honor outstanding achievements in the field of literature and arts, but also an opportunity to recognize and evaluate the great strides of the country's literature and arts throughout the past year.

According to Dr. Doan Thanh No, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations , 2024 is the time when the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and the Central Specialized Literature and Arts Associations (the Union and the Associations) will make efforts to focus on successfully completing the tasks of the term, start preparing for the new term congress (2025 - 2030), and implement many major literary and artistic programs and projects towards the country's important anniversaries. The Union and the Associations have been flexible, proactive, and organized and implemented many meaningful and practical activities, contributing to motivating, promoting and building a creative movement for artists nationwide.

Mr. Hoang Du, Editor-in-Chief of Literature and Arts Times, said: Through the voting for typical events, we aim to evaluate the outstanding results in the work of the Union and Associations; look back on a year of vibrant activities of Vietnamese literature and arts; promote the sustainable development of literature and arts in the following years. At the same time, we will promote and continue to spread more widely the values ​​that literature and arts have achieved.

"The preparation and nomination process have been urgently implemented according to the promulgated Regulations. The Organizing Committee has sent a dispatch requesting nominations for typical literary and artistic events in 2024 to the units under the Union, 10 Central specialized Literature and Arts Associations, provincial and municipal Literature and Arts Associations and the editorial offices of newspapers and magazines of the Literature and Arts Associations. At the end of the nomination period, the Organizing Committee has compiled, held meetings, voted and selected 20 typical events to submit to the President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for approval," said Mr. Hoang Du.

From this result, the Organizing Committee voted for 15 typical Literature and Arts events in 2024 with the participation of representatives of Central Literature and Arts Associations, Provincial and Municipal Literature and Arts Associations, representatives of artists and journalists, reporters, and editors who follow culture, literature and arts at Central and local press agencies.

The list of 15 typical Literary and Artistic events in 2024 will be announced by the Organizing Committee on January 1, 2025.
