Speaking about the Quang Ninh artists, at the discussion on building a pilot project to develop cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long City held on February 7, 2025, Mr. Dao Huy Toan, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, emphasized: Quang Ninh has a special interest in artists, this team has developed very early and is very large. The Provincial Literature and Arts Association currently has over 600 members, the Quang Ninh VNDG Association has over 300 members, districts, towns and cities all have Literature and Arts Associations with about 1,200 more members. The quality of artists has been assessed over many periods as very good, with passion, experience, and a very large volume of products with many quality works.

Specifically assessing some typical fields, Mr. Toan said: There will be an exhibition displaying literary works of 50 years of national unification and selecting 50 works for the whole country, of which Quang Ninh has 2 works. Up to now, Quang Ninh authors also have 2 dozen books published in the world.

Quang Ninh fine arts have a long history with a relatively large number of works, especially works about the coal industry. Music is also a strong province, currently there are over 3,000 songs written about Quang Ninh. All localities can organize their own music night. Over the past 5 years, Quang Ninh authors have participated in all national music festivals, achieving very good results. The province's photography has always been leading the region over the past 5 years, and is considered by some photographers to be able to participate in the international photography market...

Although it has a long tradition with very encouraging results, when evaluating from an economic perspective, he also has to admit that the number of works that keep pace with the market and are sold on the market is not much. Quang Ninh really needs more incentive mechanisms for artists to create high-quality works. Special attention is paid to building a literary and artistic market associated with cultural industry, then having a mechanism to stimulate the market, creating impetus for the development of the literary and artistic market. Nurturing talents is also very important because talents are not easy to obtain, from innate ability must go through a process of training and education to become talented...
