Speaking at the rally, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh emphasized that the annual celebration of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is an opportunity for journalists to review the glorious tradition of the country's press; to promote the spirit of solidarity, to develop the press and the press team to serve the country better and better, to be more worthy of the trust of the Party and the people. History has proven and honored the blood bond with the country and the people of generations of Vietnamese journalists - soldiers on the ideological, cultural and information fronts.
Through the practical struggle of the revolution, the press has made great contributions and been a sharp weapon contributing to the great achievements of our Party and people in the struggle for independence, unification, peace, innovation, development and integration.

In the joy of celebrating the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, continuing the digital transformation process over the past time, Nhan Dan Newspaper officially launched an internal website to help cadres, reporters, editors, and employees of the Party Newspaper update the internal activities of the Newspaper faster and more.
At the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh, authorized by the President, awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to comrade Tran Viet Cuong, former member of the Editorial Board and Head of the Executive Board.

In addition, 1 collective and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements received Certificates of Merit from the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper; 3 union members of Nhan Dan Newspaper Union received the "Face of the Year 2022" Award from the Vietnam Civil Servants' Union.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Journalists Association decided to award the Association's Certificate of Merit to the Nhan Dan Newspaper Journalists Association and the "For the Cause of Vietnamese Journalism" Medal to 5 members of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Journalists Association.
The People's Newspaper Journalists Association awarded Certificates of Merit to groups and members with many achievements in professional activities and the Association's work.
Right after the 98th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the 2022 People's Press Awards Ceremony took place.
Presenting the comments and evaluations of the Award Council, comrade Phan Thanh Phong, Vice Chairman, Head of the Professional Committee of the People's Newspaper Journalists Association, said that the 2022 People's Press Award gathered 224 works and groups of press works belonging to 9/10 genres (32 more works and groups of works than last year).

The works and groups of works participating in the award are presented in many journalistic genres, integrating multiple genres, closely linked to events and current issues of social concern, while actively promoting the spirit of data journalism and solution journalism. In particular, there is a clear improvement in form in the context of the press in general competing fiercely to retain traditional readers and attract new readers.
From 224 works and groups of works submitted for the award, the Award Council selected 56 high-quality press works to award prizes; including 7 A prizes, 13 B prizes, 17 C prizes; 19 consolation prizes.
Among the 30 award-winning works submitted by Nhan Dan Newspaper to the 2022 National Press Awards, 6 works have won the National Press Awards, including 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 2 C prizes and 1 Encouragement prize.
In addition, in 2022, the collective of reporters and editors of Nhan Dan Newspaper had 47 works awarded in competitions organized by ministries, departments and branches at the central and local levels. Of these, 7 works won A and First prizes; 12 works won B and Second prizes and 17 works won C and Third prizes.
Regarding the awards from ministries, departments and branches at the central and local levels, there were 4 certificates of merit, 1 collective certificate of merit and 16 certificates of merit, 4 individual certificates of merit.
