This trip back to the source took place on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the founding of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

The delegation also visited the Duc Thanh School Relic Site. Duc Thanh School is where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh (the name of Uncle Ho when he was 20 years old) taught in 1910 before going to Saigon and then abroad to find a way to save the country.
Duc Thanh School was built in late 1907, initiated by Mr. Nguyen Trong Loi and Nguyen Quy Anh - the two sons of the patriotic poet and writer Nguyen Thong. This was a private school with progressive teaching content at that time.
For many reasons, Duc Thanh School closed in 1912.

During the period 1978-1980, Duc Thanh School was renovated and restored as before. Next to the school is an exhibition house about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, built and inaugurated in 1986.
Duc Thanh relic site was ranked as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1986.
