Giving opinions on the draft report of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee on the results of supporting the construction of Great Unity houses and implementing social security in the province on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee all agreed that this was a great achievement of the province. Along with that, the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee proposed to add more directions and tasks in the coming time; have a direction to allocate support resources to localities. In addition, research on shifting support for families without houses according to the new criteria of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; using support funds to care for the lives of ethnic minorities in the highlands, not only building houses for poor households but also investing in building classrooms and dormitories for students...

At the meeting, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee presented a draft report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, ensuring national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2024; the implementation of local budget revenue and expenditure tasks in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks and solutions for managing the local budget estimate for the last 6 months of 2024; adjusting the local budget expenditure estimate in 2024. The comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee basically agreed with the contents of the report submitted by the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, they also proposed to add some contents, targets and solutions in the report, such as: Adding the PAPI index; solutions to improve discipline and public service discipline; solutions for site clearance of project works... Along with that, the comrades also pointed out that, although many important results have been achieved, many areas and targets have not yet met expectations, especially the issue of disbursement of public investment capital. Therefore, it requires all levels, sectors and localities to continue to be unanimous, highly focused, and flexible in solutions to complete the set plan...

Also at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee gave opinions on the work of organizing the apparatus and cadres; drafted a report on the results of the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement tasks in the first 6 months of 2024; reported on the implementation of the project to build the Housing Area West of Nam Rom River and Tan Thanh Housing Area, Dien Bien Phu City... and some other contents.
