The Economic - Budget Committee reviewed the contents presented at the 22nd Session of the City People's Council.

Meeting to review the content presented at the 22nd Session (Special Session) of the 10th City People's Council, term 2021-2026

At the meeting, members of the Economic - Budget Committee and representatives of relevant departments and branches focused on discussing and contributing opinions on the proposal on the decision to support the city budget to invest in renovating and repairing facilities and arranging for annual maintenance, repair of equipment, vehicles, etc. of the Community Education Center on fire prevention, firefighting, rescue and first aid in the city.

According to the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Tran Phuoc Son, the investment in renovating and repairing the facilities of the Community Education Center on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue is very necessary, in order to contribute to equipping knowledge, raising awareness and responsibility of people in proactively preventing fires and explosions, and handling when fires occur.

“The City Police Department is requested to coordinate with relevant units to absorb the opinions provided at the meeting, supplement and complete the submission for the Economic - Budget Committee to continue the verification work according to regulations; in which, it is necessary to review and report to the City People's Council on the current status of agency headquarters when there is no longer a district or county police organization, thereby proposing a plan to hand over the headquarters for the city to manage and use effectively,” the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Council directed.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son gave a speech directing the meeting.

The meeting also examined the City People's Committee's report on supporting the cost of sharing the road to Hoa Cam Industrial Park for organizations and enterprises in Cam Le Industrial Cluster; the City People's Committee's report on determining the financial obligations of investors when connecting wastewater arising from residential and urban area projects in Da Nang city; the report on approving the budget and supplementing the budget for performing tasks for agencies, units and People's Committees of districts (phase 1).

Based on the discussion, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Tran Phuoc Son requested the City People's Committee to direct relevant departments and branches to receive and explain the opinions of members at the meeting to complete the verification work.

Previously, on February 12, 2025, the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council held a meeting to review the submission and draft Resolution of the City People's Council promulgating the expenditure levels for activities celebrating major holidays in 2025; the arrangement of environmental sanitation service estimates in districts for the period 2025 - 2027; and the estimated management and operation costs for the 5-year period from 2025 to 2029 for the Son Tra Wastewater Treatment Plant - Phase 2.

At the same time, review, submit and draft Resolution of the City People's Council on Regulations on authority to decide and approve tasks and budget estimates for purchasing assets and equipment and decentralize authority to decide and approve tasks and budgets for performing tasks of renovation, upgrading, expansion, and construction of new construction items in construction investment projects of agencies and units under the management of Da Nang city (if any); submission requesting policy on exploiting Software Park No. 2.

The meeting also gave opinions on the proposal of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on the policy of supporting the city's budget capital to upgrade and renovate the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Military Region 5 Branch; the proposal and draft Resolution of the City People's Council on adjusting the budget revenue target according to Resolution No. 80/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2024 on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2025; the proposal of the City People's Committee on promulgating the list of public career services using the state budget in the field of Agriculture and Rural Development in Da Nang City.
