Doctor Hai Le - "golden hands"

Mr. Hai was born in 1970 in Tan Phuc village (now Phuc Duc village), Hien Thanh commune, Vinh Linh district. Like many children growing up in his poor hometown, he experienced a difficult childhood, struggling to make ends meet in order to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. During that journey, Mr. Hai always made efforts, overcame difficulties and sought to learn on his own to succeed.

“I majored in cardiothoracic surgery at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, then continued my graduate program at the Military Medical Academy. The turning point that changed my life was when I decided to study cosmetic surgery and have been in the cosmetic industry until now,” Hai recalled.

In 2003, he packed his bags and went to Hanoi to take the master's exam and began his days of constantly improving his knowledge and studying. One thing that many colleagues and friends always admire about Mr. Hai is his spirit of progress even in difficult circumstances. Not having enough money, he took advantage of his time to work part-time at hospitals and clinics, spending frugally to earn money for school.

In 2008, Mr. Hai opened a cosmetic facility in Hanoi called “Dr. Hai Le Medical Cosmetic Institute”. “At that time, the cosmetic surgery industry in Vietnam was still young, so my decision made many people think it was risky and worrisome. However, for me, the more difficult it was, the more determined I had to overcome it and do it,” Mr. Hai said.

Determining that "the profession has chosen the person" and feeling the good values ​​from the job, he has always sought opportunities to learn and improve his skills; participated in studying and training in countries with developed cosmetic industries such as Korea, Singapore, Japan... From Dr. Hai Le Medical Cosmetic Institute, he has developed into Dr. Hai Le Med Group with a chain of prestigious and high-quality medical and cosmetic clinics nationwide. Over the years, from a poor boy coming to the capital to start a business, up to now, Mr. Hai has conquered many hearts not only because of his passion for the profession but also because of his acts of kindness to the community, especially to his hometown of Quang Tri.

Mr. Hai shared: “Since I was a child, I have dreamed of a day when my children and younger generations will no longer have to suffer hardships and lack like me. I always promise myself to work hard to succeed and return to support and help my hometown because my hometown still has many poor lives.” As proof of that, Mr. Hai is often present in activities and holidays of his hometown; organizes many free health check-up and consultation programs for people in Hien Thanh commune; and awards many scholarships and meaningful gifts to local children and students at Cua Tung High School, Vinh Linh district, where he used to study.

Since 2022, Mr. Hai has established the "Double Hands" Charity Fund with the desire to contribute a small part of his efforts to the community. The fund was established to support difficult circumstances and the less fortunate. According to Mr. Hai, the name "Double Hands" means a pair of hands to care for the disadvantaged. In addition, it also means that this fund is taken from his own hands and work efforts to bring to the community, not from any other funding sources.

Immediately after its establishment, the “Double Hands” Charity Fund quickly implemented many meaningful programs aimed at those in need of help in society such as: awarding scholarships to poor and studious students; giving water purifiers to disadvantaged schools; supporting people in disaster areas, remote areas; giving charity houses and sponsoring free eyelid corrections and congenital moles removal...

In Quang Tri, Mr. Hai and his colleagues built 4 houses for families in difficult circumstances. Currently, the fund has built 6 charity houses for poor families who do not have a house or are living in temporary, dilapidated houses across the country.

Over the years, Mr. Hai has also regularly received and successfully performed surgeries on cosmetic surgeries that were defective or failed, especially serious and difficult-to-treat errors in facial areas such as eyes, nose, etc. Every year, he organizes two free "rescue" programs for defective eyelids in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Up to now, the program has "rescued" hundreds of patients with defective eyelids or diseases such as pigmentation disorders, eczema, congenital hemangioma in difficult circumstances, bringing confidence and happiness to many families.

In addition to his main job, Mr. Hai also actively participates in sports activities, exchanges with the Quang Tri Association, charity activities, community activities, especially activities towards his hometown Quang Tri; contributes funds with the Young Association in Hanoi to support difficult cases in his hometown...

“Although I live and work far from my hometown, perhaps it is the precious qualities such as diligence, hard work, loyalty and not being afraid of hardship of Quang Tri people that have contributed significantly to my current position. In the coming time, I will complete the Dr. Hai Le Med Group aesthetic medical ecosystem to help many Vietnamese people enjoy the best and most complete beauty techniques. In particular, I will continue charity activities for the community, towards the less fortunate; strive this year, on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Dr. Hai Le Med Group's establishment, to support 17 charity houses for families without houses or temporary houses nationwide as a token of gratitude,” said Mr. Hai.
