Binh released evidence to save Luyen from prison.
In episode 12 of "Life is still beautiful" aired on the evening of April 26, Ms. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) went to the hospital where Nhat - the person who was stabbed by Luyen (Thanh Huong) - was hospitalized to apologize and hope for compensation for damages. However, Nhat's wife loudly scolded Ms. Tinh: "Are you good at mourning for hire? Did you give birth to him? He kicked you out of the house, it's best for you to let him go to jail, so he can stop the habit of assaulting and harming others." This woman also demanded that Ms. Tinh give 300 million VND to compensate for what Luyen had done.
Knowing that his wife was asking Mrs. Tinh for money, Nhat discussed with his wife: "I tell you, taking someone for three hundred seems a bit too much, fifty or seventy is enough, because that family doesn't have any money." However, Nhat's wife insisted that Luyen's husband had money. This woman also asked Nhat to just lie still, she would take care of everything.
Liu met Binh to find evidence to save Luyen.
Meanwhile, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) and everyone in the neighborhood met to discuss ways to help Luyen escape punishment. At this moment, Luu thought of Binh (Minh Cuc): "Yesterday, I think I saw Binh running past. Don't you guys see anything unusual? We haven't seen her here since this morning, it proves that there's a problem."
No sooner said than done, Luu went to find Binh to investigate and ask for information: "Binh, each story has its own story, this is a matter of a lifetime, Luyen is in prison out here, Binh has no opponents".
Luu both advised and scolded Binh to tell the truth: "Life only loves you when you do many good things. If you are jealous for no reason, people will think you are mean. But if you are jealous and turn black into white, and gloat when others are harmed, life will call you despicable. It is better to be a bad person than to be despicable, people will despise you."
Liu's words made Binh angry. He cried and blamed Liu: "What kind of magic potion did you fall under? I was so devoted to you that in the end I got nothing."
Not only Luu, but also Ms. Hoa met Binh and advised her to help Luyen: "If that night Nhat did something to Luyen, if you saw it but didn't confess, you will definitely go to jail. The police just went to the market management board to collect evidence." Ms. Hoa also reminded Binh to think carefully, if she knew that Luyen was wronged and let Luyen go to jail, she would soon receive retribution.
In response to Ms. Hoa's advice, Binh confessed that he witnessed the incident but refused to report it to the police because he was afraid of "winning one person's favor and displeasing another." Finally, Binh decided to show Ms. Hoa the video of the incident.
Finding evidence to clear Luyen's name, Luu and Ms. Hoa went to the hospital room to expose the greed, evil, and misery of the Japanese couple.
"Uncle Nhat, we are neighbors, how could you treat my daughter Luyen like that?" - Mrs. Tinh angrily questioned Nhat but still asked everyone to forgive this couple because she knew they were in the same poor situation as her and her child.
After being released, Luyen confided to Luu: "After being here for a few days, many things suddenly came to my mind. I have to live differently, Luu." When asked where Luu got the evidence to help her, Luyen was extremely surprised to learn that the person who played an important role in helping her was Binh.
Luyen was happy to be exonerated and released.
Mrs. Tinh left, determined not to bother her daughter-in-law.
Seeing Luyen return, the whole boarding house happily asked her questions. Everyone advised her to learn from her experience and stop being a thug. Meeting Mrs. Tinh, Luyen blamed her: "I told you, now you and I have nothing to do with each other. Why did you come here and then shamelessly ask for help? You're old and you have to keep your dignity." In response to Luyen's reproach, Mrs. Tinh said: "I only need you, I don't need dignity, as long as you don't go to jail and don't cause trouble, I can bear any price."
Mrs. Tinh also spoke up and asked Luyen to let her stay and take care of her: "My child, I know my whole family has wronged you a lot. Please let me stay. It's okay if you don't consider me your mother, but please let me stay with you, okay?" Knowing her mother-in-law's wish, Luyen cried and replied: "I beg you, please let me live. Every time I see you, I remember the 5 years I was deceived, I can't bear it. If I say anything to offend you, you will suffer, and I will suffer."
Hearing Luyen, Mrs. Tinh decided not to bother her anymore, determined to leave but still did not forget to remind her, "You will always be my child." Luyen stayed behind to cry for her fate and for her pitiful mother-in-law, Mrs. Tinh.
Mrs. Tinh decided to leave because she did not want to bother her daughter-in-law.
Will Mrs. Tinh and Luyen really become strangers? Will Luyen thank Binh for providing evidence to save her? The answer will be in the next episodes of the movie "Is Life Still Beautiful?" airing at 9:40 p.m. on VTV3.
