According to Bloomberg, as developers, financial analysts, and journalists begin getting their hands on the new Vision Pro glasses, Apple is preparing to launch a new version. Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 15 in the fall as usual. However, over the next 12 months, the company will refresh all its key product lines. These include two 24-inch iMacs, a 30-inch iMac, the iPad Pro and iPad Air, the Watch Ultra, and two new Watch 9s. Additionally, Apple will sell 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch MacBook Pros, all using the new M3 chip.
Besides new products, consumers and investors are also closely following Vision Pro's sales performance. Apple is the latest company to enter the virtual reality space. While initial experiences have been relatively positive, some have reported feeling nauseous after wearing the headset or that the headset is too heavy. Vision Pro is more powerful than its competitors, featuring two HD screens and a custom chip to reduce latency.
Bloomberg reports that Apple is no longer strictly controlling who is allowed to take the Vision Pro home. Previously, only engineers and top executives were permitted to do so. However, starting next month, a select group of developers will also have access to the headset.
According to Bloomberg sources, Apple has continued to research a more premium version and a more affordable version of the Vision Pro.
