On the evening of August 12, Anh Tu spoke up about the incident. He confided that he was very sad to have to say goodbye to Hai Dang Doo and Vu Thinh. The male singer added: "Tu knows that there have been stories on social media in recent days that have made many people sad, so as a team leader, Tu sincerely apologizes to everyone for letting bad things happen, dragging everyone into these unnecessary negative emotions."

Previously, Hoang Dung also responded to the controversy. The male singer affirmed that the information "he asked the Anh trai 'say hi' crew to keep 60% of the original work when it was broadcast" was incorrect, affecting his image and reputation.
"The company guarantees that it has fulfilled its contractual obligations and transferred and granted the right to use the work in accordance with the Intellectual Property Law. We have also not been informed about the possibility of the work being edited or the level of editing involved, so we cannot give a quantitative figure for this as 60% as the information being spread," said Hoang Dung.
