(BTNO) - On the evening of February 10, the Center for Culture, Sports and Broadcasting of Duong Minh Chau district coordinated with the Executive Committee of the District Literature and Arts Association to organize the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day and the 2025 Nguyen Tieu Poetry Night.
Attending the event were Mr. Dang Thanh Liem - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; Ms. Huynh Thi Ai Le - Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the District Literature and Arts Association.
With the theme “Duong Minh Chau wings the future”, the Nguyen Tieu Poetry Night took place with activities: opening drums, reciting the poem “Nam Quoc Son Ha” by Ly Thuong Kiet, the Nguyen Tieu poem by President Ho Chi Minh... Many outstanding works were performed through the form of poetry recitation, poetry reading, poetry - music exchange, with content praising the homeland, country, Party, Uncle Ho, comradeship, comradeship and humanistic values in life.
The program contributes to honoring the values of poetry in particular and literature and art in general, educating the tradition of patriotism and love for the nation's culture to all classes of people. Thereby, creating a meaningful playground for artists and poetry lovers in the district, encouraging people to compete and work in production.
