(BLC) - On the afternoon of May 20, Huoi Luong Border Guard Station coordinated with Huoi Luong commune (Phong Tho district) to present national flags and photos of Uncle Ho to households in the border area in the commune.

Huoi Luong commune currently has 21 villages, of which 9 villages include: Na Sa Phin, Po To, Nam Le 2, Ma Lu Thang 1, Ma Lu Thang 2, Chang Hong 1, Chang Hong 2, Ho Thau, Huoi Luong 2 bordering the border with 606 households living in the border area. This is the force that always sticks to the land, sticks to the forest, sticks to the border together with the border guards and the commune government to firmly protect every inch of the Fatherland. From there, contributing to protecting the integrity of territorial sovereignty and national border security.

The activity of presenting the national flag and Uncle Ho's photo to households in the border area of ​​Huoi Luong commune is a very meaningful and highly educational activity to encourage and motivate the people in the border area to continue promoting the tradition of patriotism and participating in border protection. At the same time, it educates and fosters the spirit of patriotism, revolutionary sentiment, and deep gratitude of the people towards the Party and Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, Huoi Luong Border Guard Station, Huoi Luong Commune presented a total of 606 national flags and 606 photos of Uncle Ho to households in the border area. This program was accompanied by: Phong Tho Town Women's Union (Phong Tho District); Hanoi Highland Warmth Volunteer Group; Childhood Stars Club, and Happy Charity Volunteer Group (Hanoi City).

This is a practical program to implement Plan No. 733/KH-BCH, dated April 6, 2023 of the Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard Command on organizing the presentation of national flags and Uncle Ho's photos to households in border areas, celebrating the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the 65th anniversary of Border Guard Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2024).
