(BLC) - On August 11, the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee held a training conference on ensuring cyber security and information security in the province in 2023.
Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Standing Subcommittee on Cyber Safety and Security attended and directed the conference.
Also attending the conference were: Colonel Nguyen Viet Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department, Deputy Head of the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee; Cyber Security expert, Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security); members of the Provincial Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee and the Subcommittee's Working Group; representatives of leaders of agencies, units, armed forces, professional departments, officers in charge of ensuring cyber security and safety at provincial departments, branches, sectors, unions, People's Committees of districts, cities, central vertical agencies, economic groups, state-owned enterprises, etc.

The training was attended by more than 300 delegates who are key leaders and officers working on ensuring network safety, security and protecting state secrets in cyberspace in agencies, units and localities in the province. They learned 3 topics delivered by a reporter from the Department of Network Security and Prevention of High-Tech Crime.
Specifically, the 3 topics include: Identifying risks and challenges from cyberspace to national security, social order and safety in the period of Revolution 4.0 and the digital transformation process. Basic content Decree No. 53/2022/ND-CP dated August 15, 2022 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Cyber Security and Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP dated April 17, 2023 of the Government on personal data protection; Decision No. 964/QD-TTg dated August 10, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the National Cyber Security and Safety Strategy, proactively responding to challenges from cyberspace to 2025, vision 2030; Decision No. 77/QD-TTg dated November 30, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on building a People's Security Strategy in cyberspace. Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Standing Subcommittee on Cyber Security and Safety affirmed: This is an important and meaningful conference, aiming to raise awareness, skills and practical knowledge in ensuring cyber security and safety and protecting personal secrets and State secrets in cyberspace for key leaders and cadres working on ensuring cyber security and safety and protecting State secrets in cyberspace in agencies, units and localities in the province.
He suggested that the reporter, during the communication process, should combine theoretical content with practical content with easy-to-understand and easy-to-listen examples. The delegates attending the training session promoted a sense of responsibility, attended fully; frankly exchanged, discussed, and raised unclear issues, difficulties, and limitations at their agencies and units so that the reporter could clarify and accumulate a lot of useful and practical knowledge to apply to the actual work at the agency and unit.

Immediately after the conference, agencies, units and localities focused on directing the dissemination and popularization of regulations on ensuring network safety and security. Focus on directing the review of the actual work of ensuring network safety and security at their agencies, units and localities to overcome shortcomings and promote advantages and strengths to effectively perform assigned duties and tasks.
After the opening ceremony, the trainees were presented with topics 1 and 2 by the reporter of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention. In the afternoon, they studied topic 3; discussed and answered questions in the process of ensuring network safety, security and protecting State secrets in cyberspace.
