23 international students of Kien Giang University graduate

Parents and students from Laos and Cambodia attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Vice Principal of Kien Giang University said that during their time studying at the school, Lao and Cambodian students always strived and overcame all difficulties to complete their study program and receive their graduation certificates.

“This is the joy, pride and honor of the school’s collective and leadership. We appreciate and are grateful to parents for choosing Kien Giang University to send their children to university. Through many communication channels, parents have accompanied and shared with the school so that their children can study with peace of mind and achieve good results. Hopefully, in the future, Kien Giang University will continue to receive the support, attention and sharing of parents in the school’s activities,” Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh shared.

Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh hopes that each graduating student will continue to study to improve their qualifications and be active in their work to contribute to the development of their homeland. At the same time, he hopes that each student will be an ambassador connecting the school with Laos and Cambodia to contribute to developing the traditional friendship and solidarity between the three countries.

Students receive congratulatory gifts.

Ms. Sot Sophea, parent of Mok Vannet, sent her thanks to the school and teachers for their care and creating favorable conditions for her child during the 5 years of studying at the school. "During the complicated COVID-19 pandemic, my family was very worried, but the school always shared, supported, and helped our child stay safe during the pandemic. Our family is very touched by the precious feelings of the teachers, thank you Vietnam and Kien Giang University", Ms. Sot Sophea confided.

In the coming time, Kien Giang University will continue to enroll students in Cambodia with about 10 quotas/year.

On the occasion of the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Tac - Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Kien Giang province presented 23 gifts to Cambodian and Laotian students graduating this time.
