Named "Mother's Gift", the costume of contestant Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (SBD 062) was designed by her own mother for her to participate in the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest. According to Thu Trang, this costume was made from old clothes but she is always proud of it.
"My mother has 15 years of experience in fashion, so I am very confident in wearing the clothes she designed. And I am also happy because wearing the clothes feels like receiving more strength and love from my family," Thu Trang shared.

At the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest, contestant Nguyen Thi My Tien (SBD 032) brought an outfit made entirely from used plastic bottles and cups. However, this outfit still made My Tien stand out from the other contestants.
According to My Tien, every day when she goes to work in the office, she always encounters the situation of plastic bottles and cups that are used a lot but cannot be recycled for later use. "Therefore, my friends and I together created the idea for an outfit from those discarded items as a way for me to spread the message of environmental protection," Nguyen Thi My Tien said.

Contestant Nguyen Hoai Linh (SBD 001) said that the idea of printing the two lines "Healthy" and "Earth" on the costume was because she wanted to remind everyone about the message of a healthy earth. Together with a group of friends, Hoai Linh came up with the idea and designed this costume. Hoai Linh revealed that the jacket she performed in was made from a plastic tarpaulin, while the shirt and skirt were made entirely from recycled fabric.

Contestant Pham Nhu Quynh (No. 043) attracted attention with her design called "Green Desire". The outfit's highlight is a hat made from a bamboo frame then covered with old jeans. The rest of the outfit is made entirely from discarded jeans.

According to the plan of the copyright holder and organizer of the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest, the semi-final round of the contest will include 10 episodes, broadcast live periodically every Tuesday and Saturday from September 12, 2023. The final night of the Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 contest is episode 9 of the program scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City and will be broadcast live on October 14.
