Trade promotion for electricity and energy industry through Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2023

The 16th International Exhibition on Electrical Technology and Equipment (Vietnam ETE) and Energy Saving and Green Energy Products (Enertec Expo) in 2023 attracted nearly 350 enterprises to participate in displaying 500 booths. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai attended and spoke at the event.

Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2023 aims to not only be a bridge to help domestic and international businesses have opportunities to cooperate, but also a forum for businesses to exchange and share the most advanced technologies in the fields of technology, electrical equipment and green energy, along with a series of useful sideline activities that will take place throughout the event.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai delivered the opening speech of the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said: Regarding trade promotion activities in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Industry and Trade always pays much attention, creating conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to take advantage of business opportunities, integrating more deeply and effectively.

Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai assessed that participating in trade promotion events is one of the most effective ways to promote products, helping businesses affirm their brands and gradually improve their competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets.

“The Ministry of Industry and Trade believes that the Exhibition will bring practical opportunities for businesses to participate in trade promotion activities, technology transfer, investment attraction, and production and business expansion; actively contributing to the development of Vietnam's electricity and energy industry, successfully implementing the National Energy Strategy and protecting the environment,” Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai emphasized.

According to the reporter of the Industry and Trade Newspaper, this year's exhibition has many products and technologies for the electricity and green energy industry. In particular, the enterprises participating in the exhibition come from many countries and territories such as China, Germany, France, the US, Japan, Korea, etc. Some typical enterprises in the electricity and energy industry participating include EVNHCMC, Gelex, Cadisun, China Southern Power, China General Nuclear Power, Dongfang Electric, ZheJiang Energy Group, CHINT Vietnam, Vina Electric, Dat Vinh Tien, MBT, Nevon, Sigenergy, Hieu Kiet, Fluke, Daphaco, Phuc Huy Hoang, Holcom, JJ-LAPP, Elecnova Vietnam, DS Electronic, KNP Vietnam, Nguyen Ha, Otech, Viet Gia Khang, CSI, 3onedata, Chardon Group, TME, etc.

The exhibition brings together nearly 350 participating businesses.

In particular, although EVNHCMC is not an electrical equipment manufacturer, Mr. Bui Trung Kien, Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation, said that EVNHCMC participated in the exhibition to promote its image and electricity saving solutions so that customers know and adjust their electricity usage habits.

Businesses introduce products at the exhibition

On the foreign side, according to the representative of the China Electricity Council - Mr. Yu Xuehao, at the Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2023, there are dozens of Chinese electricity companies participating, including many leading companies and advanced equipment and technology companies. This is the largest concentrated exhibition of the Chinese electricity industry in Vietnam since the COVID-19 epidemic. Through the excitement of the exhibitors, it can be seen that everyone cherishes this opportunity and brings good technologies and products. We also look forward to interacting with Vietnamese and international partners at the exhibition, learning from each other and strengthening cooperation.

Vietnam ETE & Enertec Expo 2023 takes place from July 19 to July 21, 2023. With elaborate investment and many attractive activities, the Exhibition is expected to attract 20,000 visitors, affirming its role as the most prestigious and professional annual event of the Vietnamese electrical and energy equipment industry.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, directed by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, the Center for Supporting Industry Development of Ho Chi Minh City and CIS Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition Company.

During the exhibition, there will be a series of seminars such as: Specialized seminar taking place on the morning of July 20 with the theme: Energy saving and green energy activities chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, organized by the Center for Supporting Industry Development of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Energy Dispersion Technical Support Project.

B2B Business Connection activities will take place throughout the event. Activities to take businesses to visit factories producing Electrical and Energy equipment in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. Demonstrations, introductions and promotions of new products and technologies from businesses participating in the exhibition... and many attractive direct activities from domestic and international businesses.
