Xuan Son vows to spend his entire career at Nam Dinh Club, to show gratitude to 'papa' Thien

Xuan Son shared that he will spend time welcoming the new year with his family, enjoying this sacred moment with his loved ones. Although he cannot compete due to injury, he still feels happy because of the care and affection of Vietnamese fans. It is the love and support from the fans that has given him more motivation to quickly recover and return to the field as soon as possible.

"I feel unlucky to have an injury, but on the other hand, I receive a lot of love from the fans, the club and those who are always by my side. That is truly a great source of encouragement," Xuan Son expressed.

Want to spend my whole career with 'papa' Thien

During the difficult days due to injury, Xuan Son received great support from the Nam Dinh Steel Club and especially from the manager Nguyen Van Thien. He affectionately called him "papa Thien" and affirmed his gratitude to him.

"Papa Thien has helped me a lot in the past time, not only in my career but also in my life. Both my family and I are extremely grateful to him. That's why I decided to dedicate my entire career to the club and papa Thien. I want to dedicate my dedication to repay what he has done for me," Xuan Son shared.

According to the announcement from the Nam Dinh Steel Club, the owner Nguyen Van Thien affirmed that he would use all the best treatment methods to help Xuan Son recover completely. Initially, the club planned to take him abroad for surgery, however, after consulting with experts from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the medical team assessed that Vietnam had sufficient conditions to treat this injury. Therefore, Xuan Son was brought back to Hanoi for surgery and rehabilitation therapy.

Businessman Nguyen Van Thien, born in 1970, is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xuan Thien Group Joint Stock Company. He has been the main sponsor of Nam Dinh Green Steel Club since early 2022, committing to invest at least 200 billion VND within 4 years to bring the team to a new level.

Xuan Thien Group, established in 2000, is headquartered in Ninh Binh province. Despite having to temporarily leave the field to focus on recovery, Xuan Son could not hide his desire to quickly return to his best form. He affirmed that he will devote all his time and effort to the treatment process so that he can soon join the Vietnamese national team.

"Right now, I am 100% focused on recovery. I want to come back as soon as possible, play, sing the national anthem and score many goals for the team. My story with Vietnamese football is really like a dream – everything happened so fast. I had great moments with the team, became a champion, and I still can't believe it's true. I will always try my best to continue to contribute," Xuan Son shared with determination.

In the new year, Xuan Son set bigger goals for himself: to fully recover, return to the field with top form and continue to contribute to the club as well as the Vietnam national team. He did not forget to send his deep thanks to the fans who have always been by his side to encourage him throughout the past time.

"I hope that I will recover soon, play well and bring joy to Vietnamese fans. Thank you everyone for always supporting me," Xuan Son shared.
