On the morning of August 3, a 40-year-old male driver drove a specialized cargo trailer carrying 6 7-seat cars from D1 Street in the Thu Duc High-Tech Park towards Hanoi Highway. When about 800 meters from the highway, the vehicle suddenly jumped onto the sidewalk, broke many lamp posts, and crashed into the factory fence.
The incident happened early in the morning - when workers had not yet gone to work, so there were no casualties. More than 10 meters of the company's fence collapsed, the front of the container truck was damaged. The cars in the truck bed were not affected.
Traffic police then arrived at the scene and moved the accident vehicle. According to police, the driver may have lost control of his speed, leading to the accident.
