DTO - In recent times, departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province have implemented Resolution No. 06 dated December 31, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on building a culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic and creative (abbreviated as Resolution No. 06). Thereby, promoting the construction of a healthy cultural environment in all areas of social life in the Land of Pink Lotus.

Accordingly, improving office culture, building a civilized working environment in agencies and units, forming a culture of behavior, standard working style of cadres, civil servants, and employees, ensuring professionalism, responsibility, dynamism, creativity, and efficiency in performing public duties, meeting the requirements of serving the people and society are highly appreciated by the people. Family work continues to receive attention and close direction from leaders at all levels and sectors; propaganda and dissemination activities are innovated with many diverse and rich forms, creating a strong spread in the social community. The province organizes a meeting to honor exemplary families at the provincial level; coordinates to organize the "5th Festival of exemplary families of provinces and cities in the Southwest region, 2024" in Dong Thap province.

Implementing Resolution No. 06, sectors, units and localities actively propagate the implementation of the "Family Conduct Criteria"; strengthen moral and lifestyle education for students; maintain and establish "Sustainable Family Development" Clubs... contributing to the propaganda of good implementation of family work and prevention and control of domestic violence. Along with that, pay attention to synchronously building 3 cultural environments: family - school - society; implement the Project "Building a culture of behavior in schools for the period 2019 - 2025", with the goal of changing the awareness of cultural behavior of managers, teachers, staff, students and trainees to develop capacity, improve personality, cultural lifestyle, especially building a healthy and friendly school culture; improve the quality of education and training.

Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong - Rector of Dong Thap University, said: “Dong Thap University has issued a Code of Conduct regulating the standards of cultural behavior of officials, employees and students of the school; organized a workshop with the theme "Connecting 3 educational environments: school - family - society" and implemented the Program "Strengthening education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle and arousing aspirations for youth, adolescents and children in the period 2021 - 2030" in the province, initially bringing many remarkable results. Notably, Dong Thap province has Sa Dec city and Cao Lanh city recognized by UNESCO as members of the global network of learning cities. The province has reviewed and recognized more than 370,200 learning families; 850 learning clans; 684 learning communities; 824 learning units. The movement of building "Learning Corners" at home has been maintained, with dozens of "Learning Encouragement Bookcases" donated to Community Cultural - Learning Centers, to maintain and develop reading culture in the digital age.

The province promulgates the Code of Conduct for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working in Party agencies, administrative agencies and public service units in the area; deploys the set of criteria for Vietnamese business culture in the Southwest region; regulates standards and procedures for evaluating and recognizing cultural titles: "Cultural family", "Civilized urban area", "New rural cultural hamlet", "New rural cultural commune", "Civilized urban ward", "Civilized urban town", "Cultural standard agency", "Cultural standard unit", "Cultural standard enterprise" to build the culture and people of Dong Thap, which are affectionate, dynamic, creative and promote the socio-economic development of the Land of Pink Lotus. Security work in all fields is focused on; security and order at festivals and major events of the province are ensured; Prevent, proactively and resolutely attack and suppress all types of crimes, thereby ensuring security and order to serve the development of culture and people in the province.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Party committees and authorities at all levels will continue to lead and direct the serious implementation of Resolution No. 06 and related documents on building a culture and people of Dong Thap that are affectionate, dynamic and creative through specific, effective and practical models. Improve the quality and effectiveness of cultural, literary and artistic activities associated with the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, cultural institutions and the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the area.
