Hoi Ninh Commune received the Certificate of Advanced New Rural Standards

On the morning of April 25, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoi Ninh commune (Kim Son district) held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of Advanced New Rural Area (NTM) Standards in 2023.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Mai Khanh, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary; members of the District Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of departments, offices, unions of the district and many children of the hometown.

Immediately after achieving the NTM standard in 2021, Hoi Ninh commune is determined to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria and strive to build an advanced NTM. As a result, the commune has mobilized more than 300 billion VND to implement the program, of which people contributed more than 150 billion VND (accounting for 50% of the resources) with nearly 22,000 working days and donated nearly 9 hectares of land to build rural roads, welfare works, consolidate land plots and renovate and upgrade the internal irrigation system.

The commune directed to promote production development, overcome difficulties, actively transform the crop and livestock structure, apply scientific and technical advances in production... The crop structure continues to be transformed, productivity is increasing and stable. Up to now, the average annual productivity is estimated at 11 tons/ha. The commune has 3-star OCOP products such as "ornamental peach tree" and "areca nut sticky rice".

The appearance of the commune has changed significantly: 4/12 hamlets meet the model NTM standards; 12/12 hamlets have cultural houses; there are no more temporary or dilapidated houses. Average income per capita reaches 69.7 million VND/person/year. The multidimensional poverty rate is 0.91%. The rate of people participating in health insurance is over 95%. The number of households using clean water by household group is nearly 69%. Political security and social order and safety are ensured.

With those efforts, by December 2023, Hoi Ninh commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting advanced NTM standards in 2023.

At the ceremony, Hoi Ninh commune was awarded 200 million VND by the District People's Committee; many collectives and individuals were commended by all levels and sectors for their outstanding achievements in the local new rural construction movement.
