ANTD.VN - WinCommerce (a member of Masan Group) is cooperating to connect with reputable suppliers, purchasing directly in large quantities, contributing to promoting domestic agricultural products and supporting the reduction of product prices to consumers.

To promote the consumption of domestic agricultural products, WinCommerce actively implements long-term cooperation and agricultural product purchasing programs with many localities across the country, bringing agricultural specialties of each region to be consumed in supermarkets. In addition, WinCommerce is also ready to transfer quality management processes, product preservation processes, send highly skilled technical personnel to farming areas to provide guidance on farming methods; support investment in additional warehouse systems in raw material areas and key domestic production areas, which helps create a closed chain from planting, raising, supplying, purchasing and retailing.

According to records, on average, WinCommerce purchases and supplies more than 83,000 tons of high-quality agricultural products to consumers nationwide each year, including 45,000 tons of vegetables and 38,000 tons of fruits. In addition to purchasing products from farmers and local businesses, this unit also distributes exclusive products - WinEco clean vegetables at competitive prices.

To create a stable supply, WinCommerce is connecting with 131 suppliers and 19 suppliers operating under the cooperative model of supplying fresh vegetables; and 61 domestic fruit suppliers. All products before and after being transported to the point of sale are inspected for food hygiene and safety to ensure that the goods delivered to consumers always meet standards. In addition to clean vegetables, WinCommerce also signs long-term purchase contracts with many other suppliers (NCC), B2B2C model, thereby helping to reduce intermediaries to reduce product costs.

WinCommerce has increased negotiations with manufacturers, proposing reasonable policies such as: increasing purchasing output, reducing production costs, adding product display locations in supermarkets and stores, and implementing promotional activities and product introductions. With 90% of Vietnamese goods in the entire system, revenue from agricultural products accounting for 30%, this retailer is gradually succeeding in enhancing the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products, stabilizing supply sources and ensuring that consumers nationwide have access to high-quality domestic goods at every point of sale.

It is known that WinCommerce will continue to cooperate with local provinces to support domestic agricultural products, such as Cao Phong oranges, Song Da fish, Kim Boi bamboo shoots, etc.

The optimal model helps save costs

In the first 9 months of 2023, WinCommerce launched 3 new supermarket models including "premium", "urban" and "rural", respectively suitable for the core central, urban and rural areas. In particular, the Rural model is the "trump card" in the strategy to conquer the rural market with a portfolio adjusted to suit the region, including "good price" domestic goods, mid-range imported fruits, focusing heavily on promotional programs.

Lean store model, simple identification in rural areas

According to the Q2/2023 report of Masan Group Corporation, by the end of June, WinCommerce had converted 124 WinMart+ stores in rural areas to the low-cost rural store model WinMart+ Rural. These 124 stores achieved a 30% increase in daily revenue/store compared to pre-conversion performance. This is an important milestone in WinCommerce's strategy to increase market share in rural areas where 65% of Vietnam's population lives.

Moving towards optimizing the supermarket model, WinCommerce recorded a strong start in the first half of 2023. MEATDeli, the flagship brand, has recorded a 30% increase in sales per WinCommerce store since joining the WIN membership program. The strong compatibility between MEATDeli products and the WinCommerce model is creating positive resonance, while contributing to a better shopping experience for customers.
