Navy Region 1 accepts citizens to join the army in 2025

(BTNO) - On February 13, Naval Region 1 received citizens joining the army in the localities. The military handover ceremony took place solemnly, quickly, in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety.

In 2025, Naval Region 1 will receive more than 1,000 citizens (from Hai Phong City, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Nghe An provinces) to join the service at Brigade 147, Battalion 158 (Naval Region 1); completing 100% of the target assigned by superiors.

To do a good job of recruiting soldiers, unit commanders have closely coordinated with local authorities to carry out the stages and steps in the process of selecting citizens to join the army in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety.

Rear Admiral Tran Xuan Van, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Region 1, presented flowers to young men joining the army.

The units have proactively coordinated with local sister units and the Women's Union of the Political Department of Region 1 to welcome new soldiers and take souvenir photos right at the entrance gate; established a zalo group between squad officers and soldiers' families to send photos of the first day of enlistment, and regularly exchange information about the soldiers' situation with their families.

The Regional Political Commissar inspected and encouraged the first meal in the army.

At the military handover ceremony in localities and new soldier training units, the Head of the Regional Command presented flowers to congratulate and encourage, and advised the young people to continue to inherit and promote the tradition of the heroic revolutionary homeland; the spirit of shock and volunteerism of the youth, actively study, strictly abide by discipline, cultivate and train to improve the political mettle and moral qualities of revolutionary soldiers, always be ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
