(NLDO) – After a steep decline at the end of the week, today's gold price on the international market increased again, pulling up the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings.
At 8:45 a.m. on February 17, Vietnam time, the world gold price was traded at 2,892 USD/ounce, an increase of about ten USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
A few minutes ago, when the market opened, the gold price jumped to nearly 2,900 USD/ounce.
Gold prices today increased again after a sharp decline at the end of the week, at one point falling to 2,877 USD/ounce.

Gold prices fluctuated continuously due to information related to the US's tariff policy towards trade partners; inflation remained persistent in other countries... The continuing decline of the USD index also supported the recovery of gold prices.
Precious metals on the international market increased again, pushing up gold prices in the domestic market as well.
This morning, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC, PNJ, DOJI companies at 87.6 million VND/tael for buying and 90.6 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 300,000 VND/tael compared to the end of last week.
Some other companies like Mi Hong sell gold bars at 90 million VND/tael.
Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold also increased when listed businesses bought at VND87.6 million/tael and sold at VND90.4 million/tael, an increase of VND300,000/tael compared to the end of last week. The price of gold rings increased faster and fluctuated more strongly than gold bars, closely following the world price.
The difference between the buying and selling prices of SJC gold bars and gold rings remains high at 2-3 million VND/tael.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 89.3 million VND/tael.
